[Ooc: wow. I just realized I put a heading for Artanis in my last post but got tied up and forgot to write anything! D'oh! Sorry, Kerap ]

Artanis: Blacksmith Shop
Artanis settles down on the ground near the entrance but out of the way of the doors shouls they begin to open. The wind brought a chill, but it was nothing unusual for someone used to the raw elements. The whole place seemed to be sleeping, though the sun was presumably halfway to its zenith behind the grey clouds. Just along the bend he sees the women walking his way and speaking closely together. Elsa looks somewhat embarrassed, but he can tell little more at this distance. a faint clink and clatter can be heard inside the shop suring a brief lull in the wind.

Cross, Elsa and Mira: The Loop
Cross follows the pair from a distance, though if he hurried he could catch them before they reach the shop. The distance and the wind keep their conversation a mystery.

The halfling nods along with the bard at first, until her questions that is...Jumped on him? What? I'm not going to... to do that! If he likes me he'll let me know, but I'm not going to... I've been giving him hints that I like him, but I don't know if he likes me like that or not... he gets distracted so easily, but I'm sure he couldn't have missed them... could he? uncertainty crept into her voice. I mean, I haven't known him but two days... she shakes her head in disbelief, Light, has it really only been two days. Anyway, he was the perfect gentleman... and he didn't run when the wolves came! He stayed and watched my back... I don't think I would have survived if he hadn't...

Mira's second question practically stuns her, and Elsa misses a step. Blushing crimson despite the cold wind she keeps her eyes on the road and responds in a quick, only mildly defensive manner. Well I've had sweethearts before, and I've snuck off to the woods with a boy once but I'm usually too busy with my duty to the village for too much of that... Looking around at the strange place again she looks a trifle crestfallen. How am I ever going to get back? The conversation dies down a bit until Mira mentions the Gnome. Who, him? I know I don't know him, really, but he seems like the type to hit on anything in sight...

Cal, Pyros, Yasir: Wayfarer's Rest
Pyros offers the coins to the server. The man's eyes widen at the child-like Kender holding a fist-full of gold. Carefully he plucks two coins out and motions for them to wait. Moving quickly to the bar he returns with a handful od silver for Pyros' change.

[Pyros pays 1gp, 2sp for breakfast for everyone]

cross will follow up in a hurry but trying not to seem like a little brother running up to his big sisters. once catches up will ask "mind if i tag along im not one for weapons so id just be in they way with the rest"

"Thank you!" in Harmonian, or at least hopes he doesn't insult the server.

"Well my friend, Looks like everyone else is in a hurry except for us two... rather short sighted of them to leave us two here without supervision, aye?" Yasir says to Pyros with a grin. "I suppose we can check on some silver, I'll be back down here in a moment, need to grab a few things."

Yasir will head up the stairs for a moment to put on his boots and grab a few gold pieces(18). He will take a moment to check his face in his small mirror, rubbing a hand against his stubble and deciding to wait until later and then head down the stairs.

(OOC: checking my pictures[too many of them!] for a good Yasir one.)

"Honey, he's a Kender, you could parade around him naked and he would pay attention for a few moments, then be distracted by a shiny coin." Giggling she realizes this isn't what Elsa wants to hear, "But, like you said, he saved you, he stayed with you.. For a Kender thats.. he does care. Give him time and you never know. He did have a wife, so.." She trails off, considering the idea. "Oh Elsa, you will get back, I don't know how, but.. I think we all will. There is something about this place that I cant quite grasp, but when I do." She gives a wide smile. "I'll miss you when you do. I'll miss you all.. I wonder if Yasir would come back with me..?"

"I agree totally on Cal, I just hope I didn't do anything stupid last night.. when I was really out of it. Again thank you.. I didn't did I?" She asks, her intent to change the subject to protect Elsa's dignity.

"Hey I just thought, come with me to the Harmonic Hall? I want to see if there are any postings, and to talk to the Tutors about an idea I had.. Being Drunk obviously helped my brain." She grins and hooks her arm around Elsa's back.

Artanis waits. He's in no hurry. Either the shop will open soon, as he hears some movement, or the women will be here. He notices Mira putting her arm around Elsa and wonders if Elsa is another one of Mira's "clients". He thinks to himself: Well, that's one way to double your client base, I suppose.

Cal grabs his stuff. He asks the bartender for a map of nearby, looking for anything familiar.

The server bows politely as he accepts the tip and smiles. Yasir heads upstairs briefly to grab some shoes and coin. Cal speaks to the bartender about a map, but the man doesn't seem to understand what he is saying. He recalls Pyros' map, but there didn't appear to be anything familiar about it at all.

Elsa listens, deep in thought as the bard speaks. Sure, I'll go with you to the hall. she says as they finally reach the shop. Artanis is sitting near the barn-style doors, and Cross catches up a moment later. "mind if i tag along I'm not one for weapons so I'd just be in they way with the rest" he asks, presumably speaking of The Hall.

At the sound of voices outside, a heavy latch can be heard and one of the barn doors swings open wide. Instead of John, a much younger man stands in the doorway. A grey cotton shirt fits closely to his lean, muscled frame over brown breeches. Perhaps as old as twenty, he tops Mira by a full head. Pale green eyes with the dispassionate gaze of an animal watch them carefully, as if expecting to be attacked at any moment but fully prepared for it. His shaggy shock of bright red hair bobs as he nods to them before turning to go inside.

"Good morning." Mira speaks Harmonian as he opens the door, nodding. "Well, looks like Johns is open." Switching back to Common she notes the group is somewhat disjointed.. She was so used to working alone, spending time in her thoughts.

"I'm going to the Hall, past the dress shop, then Toads Toe, if you to tag along feel free." Motioning with her arm she pauses to peer inside the shop if possible.

Back at the table Yasir will address cal and Pyros. "Well, I guess I'll go wander and see if I might catch up with the others. either of you up to anything interesting?

Yasir will wait for a response to see what they're up to and head out the door, either with one or both of them or by himself. If he ends up alone he will walk out and take a right, with the intention of just wandering for a moment.

Artanis, Cross, Elsa Mira: Blacksmith Shop
Good morning. Mira calls to Terry as he opens the door, and he gives her a nod in response. She has seen him on several occssions over the last month, but doesn't recall having ever heard him speak... Sure, just let me get my silver sling bullets quick and we'll go. Elsa tells the bard. Peering inside, it takes a moment for Mira's eyes to adjust to the light. The door in the back to John's room is closed but Terry is building a coal-base for the day's work. The young man looks up at them expectantly.

From outside Cross notices the shop next door. The sign above the entrance depicts a silver triangular device, similar to a dragon’s scale. The shop doesn't seem to be open

Cal, Pyros, Yasir: The Loop
With the bill paid and their gear ready the trio set out in search of the others. Yasir considers wandering a bit, but decides to save it for when he is alone. Together they make their way to John's shop, since it was mentioned the most. The others are just going inside as they round the Eastern bend of 'The Loop'

Cross takes a closer look at the shop, though a shed and a side street lie between it and the smithy. The building is well-kept and the sign has writing in what he presumes is Harmonian. As he approaches he notes the one front window is shuttered tight, but his elven ears pick up the sound of movement inside... perhaps it will be opening soon...
