Ah, good thought on the tumbling proficiency. I'll say that yes a successful tumble check means he did not fall prone but merely missed and rolled up on the opposite side of the target.

So his steel broadsword did nothing to the creature. Mira has indicated that Iron will (in this case cold-forged pure iron. she has a specific weapon that has been made this way she got from a jailer who was killed). He has not yet seen if silver will hurt it or not, but Mira's specific reply seems to imply that one might be appropriate where the other might not.

Does it appear possible to douse the beastman with oil so the combined effects of the burning oil and burning web can be utilized before/as he escapes the webbing? If so, Gregor will attempt to oil it up and call for Mira to light a touch.

Do we know if these things regenerate at an above average rate?

Any regeneration has not been noted by the party, but they have only really fought 1 creature like this
