"What exactly do I need to do with him?" Seharsea asks, struggling to keep Coren afloat.

"Get him to the 'beach' if you can, we will fight these things." Brax suggests as she lines up by Gunter, "He needs air, get him on the beach and turn him on his side!"

Shearsea pulls Coren behind her to the point of the beach that is furthest from the sea cats and lays him on the side as instructed.

"Wait, what are we fighting? How are we expected to fight when we're still treading water? Poorly, I might add."

"Six Sea Cats, baby ones, coming for me and Gunter, I can see them approach." She replies hurriedly. "Come over here now."

Searos is able to pull himself, hand over hand, along the cave walls in the direction Brax was indicating, until he reaches a point where he can stand (If he wishes so). He will be more or less out of the range of their magical torch there. He can see the torch, and vague shapes that might be Gunter's and Brax's heads, then a few smaller shapes moving towards them.

The party continues to hear the yelps of the baby sea cats, and then sounds of something heavy moving on the beach at their far side.

Mercifully, Gunter realises he gets some footing once he sees the sea cats coming into their range of light. The shorter Brax will have to swim another few feet before she will have firm ground beneath her.

The baby cats look like miniatures of their parents, they're about the size of a medium-sized dog (like a German Shephard). They propel themselves swiftly forward with their fishtail legs.

Gunter draws his longsword in the hand that isn't holding the torch and braces himself.

"This is where our little plan gets interesting..."

Moving to firm footing Brax uses her elven sight to see what the larger shape is if she can. "Get ready to attack them."

Searos decides that he damn right he would like to stand. He also fishes beneath the water for his broadsword drawing it and heading over for Brax and Gunter.

"Hang on! I'm on my way! I think... I'm pretty sure! Just keep the torch up!"

Very soon Brax realises what the large shape on the far side of the beach is: retching sounds and coughs indicate is it Coren fighting for breath and coming back to life. But she has no time to dwell on this, because the baby sea cats are arriving.

Actions and initiative, please?

Sighing in relief Brax swings her mace at the first approaching creature.

(Our friend Invisible castle appears to be no more!)

Init: 5, Attack Roll: 17 (Hit AC3), Damage: 5+1 = 6.

"Attack them!" She shouts.

Searos is going to make his way over to the melee, his broadsword held high over his head. If he has the ability, he will attempt to come in behind the sea cats (not likely I presume) and attack. If he has the time to attack (again, I doubt it, I just don't know how far away they were) he will strike!

Init: 9 + (Weapon Speed: 5) = 14

Attack Roll: 5 (Hit AC 15)

Damage: Who cares? 3. Whatever.

Gunter moves towards firm ground and attacks the closest seacat.

Init - 9

Attack Roll - 13 hits AC 5

Damage - 6

Noticing from their smell that the group were intruders, the baby sea cats try to scratch and bite. However, Brax and Gunter are too well protected to take any damage from their attempts. The one who had been swimming towards Searos misses him altogether.

The baby monsters pay their attack dearly: All three are hit by the various weapons the party is using, and their blood stains the waters as their little forms turn lifeless. The three other sea cats notice the fate of their siblings and turn around, back to their nest, yelping in fear.

Baby sea cat initiative: 1d10=6
Attack rolls: 1d20=15, 1d20=15, 1d20=4

(OOC: I feel bad for the poor sea cats)

"They are quite little." Brax comments, lifting the body of the fallen creature and placing it on the bank, "Come let us get what we came for." She glances around her, "Keep your blade out Gunter, and the light."
