(Yes, Kim has seen them and alerted Searos and Vee, re-read the post)

Searos peers out into the sea. "Wow. Good eyes. Well, let me know if you want me to give them a volley. At least in so much as a single arrow can be a volley... ya feel me? I bet we could make some more money on their pelts too."

Searos pulls out an arrow and keeps his eye on the cats.

"On their pelts too?" Kim asks. "What other pelts do we have?

Searos smiles at the thought of money. "Oh man. You'll love this. We went into the cave down there and some of the baby cat-fish attacked us. So we killed them, right? Whatever. But I figure they have to be worth some money, ya feel me? I mean come on, you don't come across cat-fish gloves all that often, right? Gotta be some silver in that."

Brax makes it through the second tunnel all right, but at its end, she turns back to see if Gunter, Coren and Shearsea follow. Because of that, she bumps into a rock. She is only slightly hurt, but the chest slips out of her hands and glides softly down too the seafloor. She has no time to dive for it, because she has to go up for air.

When she surfaces, Kim's calm voice greets her. "Make it to dry land, quick. The sea cats are coming back."
Brax has two choices: grab the end of the chain Shearsea had been tied to, which is dangling before her (climbing check), or make her way on to the land bridge, which is now submerged that she would be in water to her neck.

Checks for Gunter?

Climbing check: 1d100=56

Brax curses the lost chest, and grasps the chain with all of her might, her wet body rising from the water as she braces her feet on the rocks. The survival instinct that kept her alive in the Underdark kicking in before she can check on Gunter behind her.

Brax manages to climb up all right, gripping the chain hand over hand. She's almost up when a piece of rock gives way and her foot goes down with it, making her crash against the rock painfully. She then sees Vee's face close to hers, her arm extended, grabbing her by the collar. "Come up" the fighter says and pulls on her.

"Thank you!" She replies breathlessly, "Gunter, the chest.." She frowns, looking behind.

"It's okay, you tried...I don't know what we're going to tell Searos though..."

(I'll roll my checks as soon as i get home tonight!)

"Keep your distance, do not engage them directly." She shouts as soon as she has more breath back, "They cannot hurt us if they cannot reach us."

Despite the situation, Searos can't help but cock his head to one side and watch Brax pull herself out of the water. He seems momentarily lost before he snaps back to attention. He then looks at Brax much more closely with a less appraising eye and mutters "Hey wait... I don't see a chest... or a baby catfish... That miserable woman. Doesn't she realize that gold just doesn't spring from the ground? Well, unless you're a dwarf I suppose." He turns to Kim. "Is Bright Eyes a dwarf?" He looks back to Brax. "Doesn't look like a dwarf to me. Which means there's no ground-springing gold." Searos briefly entertains the idea of just shooting Brax right then and there.
