For a full wish? I suppose there's really no limit.

Wishes are dangerous, though. It's kind of like using a monkey's paw. The powers that be tend to try and screw you over. Wish for a massive fortune and a dragon's hoard is transported to your location (and the dragon will stop at nothing to track it down and get it back). Wish for your greatest enemy to be dead, so you're transported 100 years into the future long after they have died of natural causes. Wish for phenomenal cosmic power, get turned into a genie and crammed into an itty-bitty living space (lamp).

But theoretically, a wish can do anything, if worded carefully.

So, if worded carefully enough, they could have almost no downside?

Or, can't you just add the tag : With no downsides.

Like: I want to have the strength of a Titan and have everything else about me -exactly- the same as it is before this wish.

Well, just saying 'no downsides' is probably too vague. But yeah, a wish can do anything, even alter the laws of space and time, if worded properly. It's the most powerful spell in existence.

If anyone wants to read some funny things about a game that -kindof- revolved around the deck, It's called Stealing Immortality.

Much like the Sir Bearington story, this one is pretty funny, trust me.

Let's just say it revolves around the DM, named Chris, who gets entirely owned by his son Zaak. So much so that Chris bans Z as a resource in fighting -any- gods from that point on.

Just saw this part. How could that go wrong? Simple. All Titans in the world now have a STR of 11.

Anyway, I'd like to wrap things up and get us to Mond before we hit the half-way point of this chapter. Does anyone have any scenes they want to do while still in Narin? If so, let me know. Stuff like shopping or bathing, though, can be handled in OOC.

I assume Naras has some plan to join the party before they leave?

Naras has asked about Identifies which, if feasible, could take a day or so in which case she'd volunteer to accompany the party of their boat trip.
After the poor start (due to a couple of player, i.e. me, misunderstandings), she has apologized, conducted the remove curse for free (including citing the method giving any glory for leading the ritual to the pastor) and said a couple of times that being an urban cleric makes her grumpy.
She can't force her way in. But if invited she will join.

So how about it, folks?
Pretty please?? :)

I still wonder what kind of one-horse village Naras grew up in if she thinks a small town like Narin is 'urban.'

Hoping for an invitation is probably unrealistic. The party is HUGE so it's not like they are dying for new people. Plus, it probably wouldn't occur to them to ask the new kohen who just arrived at her new job to abandon it and come with them.

I suppose you could just start following them around like you were already in the party. That's worked pretty well for most of the current party members.

Aside from that, well, the party has mentioned several times they are heading to Mond. The Son of Crizza also said he was heading to Mond. So maybe she'd be interested in tracking him down enough to at least travel with them that far. Then find a new reason to stay with them after that when the time comes.

I'd like to look into that other book Ouragana took from the Wyvern's island. But I don't have the time in RL right now to research the reasonable precautions to take so that an accident like the one before happens again, so could you please fill me in? Or simply assume she has taken the right precautions this time?

She will memorise Detect Magic, Read Magic and Continual Light as soon as she gets back on the ship. She'll ask around if anyone there has items to look at and round them up in a quiet corner of the ship. She will add the two books she took from the island before she casts Detect Magic on all the items.

The clerical 'Find Traps' works wonders. As does 'Augury'.
Naras would be happy to support both if that would help.
And you might want to memorise more than one Read Magic. (Each spell lets you read two pages per caster level, and a spell occupies [its level + 1d6-1] pages.)

I got it. I wish to be the strongest person on the planet, but be exactly who I am now. Bow fools xD

I kind of want to... do something. I think it can be done too.

A phase one MENSA guy used on me (as part of his Wish) was: "... without any other effect in the Multiverse."

I am the STRONGEST

What about, I wish to learn the arcane arts, while also maintaining who I am now body and soul, personality and experiences.

Now what?

You can now draw pictures of magic.
