Gaming check is strategy, this is almost pure ability, but I'll allow a +2 bonus for having experience with it (knowing how the coin bounces). Since it's basically a ranged 'attack' on a target use your ranged Thac0 (dex bonus applies) vs AC 8 (small target)

pretty much... he's 'bumped' into a few townspeople... not an odd thing to have hereabouts... but uniquely useful for him and the rest of the party I'd say... the kender random item generator I have described it as "surrounding area up to 15 mile radius" so... yeah...

As for LoM... feel free to be impulsive... just understand that the life expectancy of 'iimpulsive' people in the LoM is about 20 times shorter than cautious players...
