"Thank you." She squeezes Merricks arm and smiles, and moves close to Elsa. "Right, you were pretty close to meeting Yondalla you know? Take it easy for a bit."

"Does anyone know we are up here?" she asks and glances at Jerry. "Thanks again. My name is Mira." Offering a hand she continues. "Don't tell me that you ended up here without your... Consent?"

(Does Mira have any idea how late she is for her set?)

Jerry goes to tend Artanis' wounds but the magical healing from earlier stopped the bleeding. Down below, Pyros begins to run off into the night to search for the arrow. Keeping a watch above Artanis spots him and calls out, Leave it, Pyros! It's not worth it tonight. I have plenty more.

Elsa laughs at Mira's jest. No closer than you miss 'I want to fight something with my dagger without armor like a sensible person' she teases good-naturedly. Who else needs healing? I saw Cal get roughed up pretty bad. Where are you at? The halfling turns to Jerry, He's a Gnome, he's just invisible right now. Cross has a habit of making us small-folk 'vanish' from time-to-time. He made Pyros disappear yesterday, although I'm not sure that was the best idea. She turns abruptly as if someone tapped her shoulder, There you are! And just what were you dping lurking behind me? Hmm? Nevermind, here. Another healing spell and the golden glow forms the shape of a small humanoid in the air before fading.
A high-pitched male voice speaks from the air nearby, I wasn't doing nothin'... thanks Elsa. You really know how to make a guy feel better.

-------
[Ooc: healing nwp can only be applied prior to magical healing. if he gains a new injury check could be made for it, though.

Pyros' movement rate is 6 without his pack or 60 yds/round. It would take him 1 round to go to where he thinks the arrow is, 1 round to search, and 1 round to return. The chance of finding it in the dark and it not being ruined by hitting the cobbles is slim anyway.]

Elsa casts cure light wounds on Cal [1d8] = 4. Cal is upgraded to Hurt [/9]

Mira isn't sure, but Merrick can tell her she is a little over an hour late and Guilliam has been stalling

"Well. I had to do something!" She responds, trying to ignore that they would have had a better chance with Yasir.. Her eyes falling on the glowing shape of the Gnome she frowns a little. Why was he lurking?

"I'll be in my room, getting changed. I have a set to do, and.. I.." Unsure what else to say she moves to the door. "Elsa.. You need to change my dear. I would like the rest of you downstairs. Please? And you Jerry." Moving from the room she finds her own.

Jerry takes the proffered hand and smiles back, "No, I don't think they do, Mira. Please to meet you. I'm Jerry." She pauses realizing that she's probably said that already. "Umm yes, that's exactly it. Do you have any idea how that happens or what's behind it?"

"I see," says Jerry to Elsa, not really seeing, but not minding at all. "Anyone else need healing?"

If anyone else is still bleeding then Jerry will try first aid on them, otherwise will offer another CLW.

"No, I have a few ideas, but nothing solid. Look Guillam is expecting me... He'll be ok with me being late, I think. He's been good to me, and.. I need some normality." She responds to Jerry. "Keep a weapon on you at all times, everyone." She stops checking for her Silver dagger before continuing.

"Jerry, all I know is this place is dangerous, the Wolves stalk at night, men becoming wolves..." She shudders, "Pyros watch those fingers." She adds with a soft smile. (If her dagger is missing she just opens her palm, waiting.)

[Ooc: I'll let Kerap decide how Artanis responds to the Faerunian stuff. Cross hasn't had any first aid yet, but he was injured more than 5 rounds ago so the healing nwp isn't applicable.

Cal is stil invisible unless he or Cross dismissed the spell and I missed it. The glow surrounding him only lasted a moment during healing, it is not permanent.]

Elsa follows Mira across the hall to change as well. Even with them gone, the room is very crowded. Cross and Pyros prepare to head downstairs when Jerry offers another healing spell. Cross is still a little injured from the fight, as is Artanis. Elsa calls back that she will tend her own wounds as she leaves. Artanis also says, I will see to my own healing, but thank you. I should clean up as well. He and Merrick take up a place in the hall near the door to free up some space. Quite a first night in town... Merrick says to Jerry. Thank you for helping my friends. I am glad everything ended well. That was a very tenuous situation.

The others hear Cal walk out and head downstairs, still invisible.

Elsa and Mira: Girl's room
As soon as the door closes Elsa casts anotger healing spell, this one apparently more powerful as she heals the majority of her remaining wounds. She gets out a clean outfit but looks down at her robes, disgusted. Ugh, I'll need two baths to get all of this off. Mira checks and finds her silver dagger in place.

Cal: Common Room
Cal descends to near the bottom of the stairs where he cam see over the tall folk. The room is packed and there is a nervous tension in the air, but no apparent source. Guilliam seems particularly worried and keeps glancing at the main entrance. The large double-doors are barred with a heavy beam. Scanning the crowd Cal spots Serath sitting by himself, glancing occasionally at the stairs.

-------
Jerry, Merrick and Pyros are at full health.
Mira [19/20], Artanis [12/16], Cal [8/9], Cross [6/8]

Elsa casts Cure Moderate Wounds and heals [1d10+1] =8 hps
Elsa: Hurt

"Still got a cure left if you want it," Jarry says quietly so that only thise in the room can hear (including Cross).

She turns to Merrick, "Me too. I would count you as a friend too, if that is acceptable to you?" and holds out her hand.

(OOC: Before Mira leaves she asks Merrick to go down and explain to Guilliam that she was delayed, and she will be down shortly. I've lost track of her cantrips, so I've made a check which she passed with a minus -1 penalty. Cantrips [1d20] = 13)

"Take the robe off." Mira speaks softly as the door closes behind her, a hint of command in her voice. "Now isn't the time for modesty." She adds as she pulls off her blouse, using the ruined fabric to wipe down her body. "I can save the need for a bath".

(If Elsa agrees), @Wash away the blood, wash away the pain..." Mira sings softly the worst of the blood vanishing from Elsa as she encompasses her chest with the green corset. "Wear the new dress, we can't show them they've gotten to us, even if they have... I thought I was going to die there in that street.. If Pyros hadn't.." Her voice breaks, "We both owe that silly Kender our lives." Letting out a little laugh she deposits the dagger in her hidden location and pulls on her skirt, wrapping the shawl over her bare shoulders she gives the Priestess a sideways glance.

"How do I look?" She asks her hands holding the lute close to her body, checking the tuning.

Pyros will bounce down into the common room, and try to get a meal. He will look around for the Tanner, and if he is there, he will buy him a drink and a mean as he offered at this shop/home.

[Ooc: Jen: I went back and looked at your cantrips for the day and you still have some cantrips left even after that last one. She used 3 during combat (2 dog noises, 1 knight sound),1 in jail and 1 to attempt to clean Elsa; that leaves her with 3 more tonight without incurring penalties. Mira’s cantrip check is at 12, so it would take a 12 or lower to succeed, therefore a 13 fails.

After reviewing Cal’s cantrips for the day I found he used 6 during combat and 1 to clean off Akriel (the girl they met outside the jail), so he is at -1 for the day meaning that his next attempted skill check will be at -2; but still possible. I went through and updated all the character sheets last night, and have just finished the above corrections for the cantrips.

Comprehend languages only works on the caster. The range ‘touch’ indicates the subject to be understood, whether it be a person or text.

Jerry seems to have trouble even giving away free healing. Cross is really the only candidate now that Artanis and Elsa are tending their own wounds. Cal is still invisible, and he and Mira only need 1 hp restored each which would be kind of a waste. If Rivi/Cross wants the healing we can retcon it quick.]
--------------

Artanis, Cross, Jerry, Merrick and Pyros: Jerry’s Room
Artanis heads down the hall to his own room to clean the blood off himself and his gear, I will catch up with the rest of you downstairs. Pyros and Cross also take the opportunity to leave, but head for the common room instead. The corner of Merrick’s mouth twitches up into a smile at Jerry's words. No need to be so formal, but I accept your offer of friendship. He takes her hand in a firm but gentlemanly handshake. Mira is right, I should go speak with Guilliam. Will you join me? he asks the half-elven lady politely.

Elsa and Mira: Girl's room
Elsa seems more concerned about the blood and the potentially ruined garment than modesty as she hauls off her chain mail and the soiled robes, leaving her in her bloodstained smallclothes.. A multitude of holes ad rips adorn the ruined robes and she lets them fall to the floor. Those are beyond a lost cause, I’m afraid. Mira’s cantrip sputters out, but the halfling takes a spare cloth from her pack and some water from the washbasin to clean herself off. She turns her back and blushes furiously when she quickly changes her undergarments.

He Bard tends to her own cleanliness as she wipes off the blood from the newly healed flesh. Elsa turns back, still a little rose-cheeked. Mira dons the new corset from the Blue Bolt and the cleric puts on her new sun dress. She also puts on her belt and pouches over it, leaving the sling tucked over the side where she could easily reach it. As Mira goes on about Pyros, Elsa begins shaking her head in bewilderment, I can’t believe he did that. He has got to be insane! It was very brave of him. I thought he was just carefree at first but I’m beginning to wonder if he isn’t a little… you know… she small circles near her temple with one finger, … unstable. Still, you are right. We both owe him. I don’t know what we would have done otherwise… Mira finishes dressing and asks the cleric’s opinion. Elsa smiles broadly, You look like you’re going to a ball. It’s beautiful. Are you sure you’re up to playing tonight? I’m sure they’d understand.

Cal and Pyros: Common Room Stairs
Pyros bounds down the stairs, bumping lightly into the invisible Cal near the bottom. He surveys the room, but does not see the leatherworker anywhere. The man did not seem like the social type, so it’s not much of a surprise. A few patrons look over to him and Guilliam in particular takes note of him and comes over. He says something to Pyros that is obviously a question, but unfortunately neither of the small folk understand. Cross joins them at the foot of the stairs as well. Their customary table seems to be full, as does every other seat in the house. In fact, there are several people standing near the bar. The nervous air in the room is obvious, and few people begin to whisper and glance in their direction; perhaps recognizing them as part of the Gypsy Bard’s entourage…
