[The group in the den can see one wolf to the north, the others are hidden too well for them. Those in the kitchen don't see anything yet, and neither does Elsa. Artanis and Pyros know where the wolves are, but those by the trees have 90% concealment (-4 to hit them) ]

As Pyros is winding up to shoot at the wolf in the ditch he will tap Artanis on the arm and point to it, just to make sure the fellow saw it.
Ini, Hit(Thac0:16), Hit, Dmg Dmg: [1d10] = 2 [1d20] = 7 [1d20] = 20 [1d4+2] = 1+2 = 3 [1d4+2] = 1+2 = 3

"We need to tell them to move all they can in the same place, in the trees." Mira says to the mage, he could obviously hold the spell well enough.
"I need to get to the roof, but we need to hold this door." She suggests realising out of the lot of them she had the most martial skills. Damn she missed Yasir right now, her plan wasnt working. She wasnt a warrior, despite any thoughts to the contary she knew it was true. "I'm going to get Jerry to come back here, if anything attacks the door, Merrick, you have an attack spell?"
(Assuming he stays put, and doesnt move)

Jerry will comply with what Mira wants, pausing only to pick up the weaponry.

Artanis acknowledges Pyros' pointing out of the target in the ditch and Artanis then points out the big, bad wolf by the chicken coup to Pyros. The Ranger wants to get that one out into the open, so he can use his entangle spell. He quickly decides that perhaps shooting at one of the other wolves will help draw it in.
So he takes aim with his bow at the wolf in the ditch, pulls back on the string, pauses and holds his breath then lets the arrow fly. But this arrow also misses.
He repeats the process and lets a second arrow fly. But this arrow also misses the target.
Game Mechanics:
Attack #1:
Attack with bow: [1d20+1] = 5+1 = 6, Damage [1d6] = 2
Attack #2:
Attack with bow: [1d20+1] = 2+1 = 3, Damage [1d6] = 4
Begins to wonder if he has has the syntax wrong on this macro. Seems correct, but four rolls and nothing in double digits.

Walking towards the Kitchen Mira calls to Jerry. "We need to hold the Den door, the illusion isn't working. I'm going to the roof." With that she heads up to the roof, finding a blanket to draped over her shoulders as she does so, can she also find ones for the boys?

[The guys on the roof have blankets, it's still cold though.]
Pyros and Artanis take aim at the wolf hunkering down in the ditch. Their first vollies sail past harmlessly. A low growling sound comes from the larger creature at the assault. It moves with unnatural quickness to close the distance between the chicken house and the trees. The wolf in the depression tentatively moves through the trench towards the others. Artanis' second arrow flies afield as well, but the Kender's aim is true, catching the wolf just as it reaches cover and producing a loud yelp!
Merrick nods at Mira's question, Yes, I have something prepared. Adran readies his longsword as well while Jerry moves into position in the den, gathering up her ranged ammuntition. Mira grabs a blanket abd heads through the pantry to the base of the stairs where Elsa stands guard by the side door. Is something happening out there? the cleric asks as the bard heads upstairs.
"At least one Wolf, I can hear more. They arent falling for the plan, so.. we have to change it." Mira responds, holding the blanket tightly round her shoulders.
Mira makes her way into the loft and finds the family has holed up in the bedroom, leaving the loft empty. She easily mskes her way to the window leading onto the roof.

Jerry waits until either a viable target presents itself or else she's summoned elsewhere.
{OOC: What can she see from this new position?}

The situation has changed enough for Artanis to modify his tactics, and he is intrigued by the possibilities. He intones a soft prayer to Mielikki "plantas, involucro et involvent" and then points at the wooded area immediately around the large, wolfman (basically centered right in front of it).
Cast Entangle on the woods and surrounding area that wolfman and his buddies are attempting to hide in.

Artanis pulls out his holy symbol and begins praying. As always his connection to the lady of the forest is weak, like one calling plaintively across a wide rift shrouded in fog.
Suddenly a song pierces the night... coming from behind the trees!? It begins with a low tenor in a gently undulating melody that ends in a long, almost contralto note.
See the fallen flower Laaaaay
‘Neath the watchful tower Graaaaay
Stretching shadows, end of Daaaaays
Hushing Robin, Rook and Jaaaaay
Ah-aah-aaaaaah Ah-ah-ah-aaaaaah
Ah-aah-aaaaaah Ah-ah-ah-aaaaaah
The soothing music’s gentle tempo seems to seep into the very soul, slackening muscles and eroding their strength. The trio on the roof begin to feel lethargic.
Lay you down, return to Claaaaay
No work to make nor game to Plaaaaay
Feel the earth upon your Faaaace
Of your fresh and waiting Graaaaave
Ah-aah-aaaaaah Ah-ah-ah-aaaaaah
Ah-aah-aaaaaah Ah-ah-ah-aaaaaah
The trio on the roof fight against the song as it creeps througout them. Mira alone is able to shake the effect. Artanis struggles to finish the prayer, sluggishly making the final gesture. The shrubs and trees near the pack begin to writhe and wind about the wolves gathered there! Two of them are quickly ensnared, including the injured one. The large creature and one of the other wolves manage to evade the plants by escaping to the East.
Pyros loads and whips his sling stones at the entangled wolf, but the combination of cold, concealment and magical lethargy cause the first shot to go wide. His fingers grow numb as he readies his second attack and the weapon tumbles from his grip; rolling down the slope of the roof and dropping to the ground far below.

Watching the others suddenly slow down and visibity of the attackers changes, Mira switches spells:
"Just follow your arrow
Wherever it points, yeah
Follow your arrow
Wherever it points."
She sings as two magical bolts shoot outwards, strking the wolfman in the chest, staggered to have the best effect.
"We need to change this plan, Pyros, can you get down the ladder, take it careful." She suggests.
Magic Missile [1d4+1] = 3+1 = 4 [1d4+1] = 3+1 = 4 8 damage.
(They have moved away from cover correct?)
