Magpie rounds behind #1 trying to catch him off guard, she jumps up to get him from behind.

Tas targets one of the remaining dragonmen with his next attack. "She's down!"

Charging forward, Riverwind easily cuts down the draconian who just harmed his beloved, his blade slicing right through the creature before it turned to stone.

Tika, meanwhile, took a nasty hit from her opponent, but retaliated with a couple of strikes that broke the draconian's skull, petrifying him,as well.

This only left one remaining, whom Magpie and Sturm double-teamed. Surprisingly, seemingly out of nowhere, the wounded warrior had managed to pick himself up and strike at the draconian from behind, wounding him severely. This left Caramon open to stab it in the neck, killing it. Sadly, his sword remained firmly attached after it petrified. "Ah, dang," the big warrior complained, yanking at the sword in a futile attempt to pull it free.

Once Tika's draconian is down, she looks to where she last saw the wounded man. "Hey...where did he," she starts to say as she turns around. "Oh," she says. She runs over to the rest of the group to see that Laurana and Goldmoon are both down. Quickly, she goes about trying to stop the bleeding on Goldmoon. "Some help Laurana, now!"

Grunting, the wounded man drops to his knees again. "Damn," he mutters. "You folks are real life savers. I owe you all, big time."

Tika, acting quickly, begins bandaging up Goldmoon's wounds to stop the bleeding.

Tika stabilizes Goldmoon at -1 HP.

Riverwind quickly tends to his beloved, and tried to stop the bleeding. Once the majority of the bleeding in controlled, he grasps both or her hands and looks up to the sky. "O glorious Mishakal, please bring her back, she is a true believer, as am I." As he waits for sme kind of sigh, he breaks down and openly weeps.

Sturm kneels down beside the fallen elf, binding her wounds as best as he can with pieces of cloth torn from her cloak.

"Stay with her magpie." he comments standing.

"Thank you, we will deal with introductions later." he says to the warrior.

"Riverwind, you can help her by finding somewhere to camp, Tas go with him." Turning to Tika he smiles greatly. "Good work, I am impressed my lady. Can you and Caramon check the bodies, retrieve anything you can."

Kneeling by Goldmoon, he looks at the warrior. "Sturm Brightblade, I guess you could say I'm in charge." he says offering his hand.

"Me watch her, she injured. Me fight well." the little dwarf pushes out her chest.

"Yes you did Magpie." Sturm responds.

Just as Tika finishes with Goldmoon, Riverwind snatches her away and double-checks all of her bandaging himself. His cry to the gods go unanswered, and Goldmoon remains unconscious.

At Sturm giving out orders and declaring himself 'in charge' Caramon grumbles softly to Tika, "Who put him in charge?"

The wounded man gets to his feet and shakes Sturm's hand. "Name's Eben. Eben Shatterstone. And it's about damn time the Solamnics sent us some help. Although, I was sort of hoping they'd send more than just one knight." He looks around at the group. "These your auxiliaries or something?"

Sturm stabilizes Laurana at -6 HP.

"No, not in the slightest." he winces at his own words. "Our leader was taken, I say I am in charge, because. someone has to be." Sturm gives Tika a reassuring smile. "Well Eben, do you have a story? What happened here?"

Magpie stays with Laurana.

Eben seems disappointed. "Are you saying then, you aren't backup from Solamnia? Well, that's a kick in the teeth. I'm with the resistance. Or, what's left of it. My unit was patrolling this area when we were ambushed by hobgoblins and these dragonmen. We gave as good as we got," he says, gesturing to the battlefield. "But in the end, we lost. I was the only one who survived."

He pauses here and shakes his head as he looks over the battlefield. "A lot of good men died today." He turns back to Sturm. "Anyway, they were interrogating me, but I wouldn't tell them anything. Guess they figured that much, because they were just about to finish me off when they heard people approaching. They dropped me where I was and ran to hide. Sorry I couldn't have called out a warning sooner, but I was pretty dazed."

"I guess...he did," Tika says to Caramon as she stands up. "Come on, let's go check the bodies," she adds as she walks into the battle field to check the bodies.

Searching the remains of the Baaz draconians, Tika and Caramon retrieve the big warrior's sword as well as Brightblade. They find each draconian held a short sword, an aleskin (that seem to contain a potent brew of rot gut) and a handful of coins and gems. The latter totals up to 16 steel and 8 small gemstones.
