Val keeps quiet, she doesn't quite have the other knack for conversation, but 50 gold a head....for birds, hell she thinks to herself, 'all you gotta do is knock 'em from the sky, the fall kills 'em.'

"A Holy person? You might be useful." the slight Elf adjusts her blade and shifts on her feet, no one was hiring. "Do you have a name? I am known as Arei." she bows. (Need to buy her a hat. )

"This seems a simple enterprise, but we need a big warrior, I would think." she does not appear to have reacted to the comment about elf ears at all.

Ouragana thinks a bit. She had been to the other tavern, closer to the sea, and there were several storm sorcerers there, all more experienced than her. So the probability that one of the next ships would hire her was low. Stupid, really, everyone wanted experienced sorcerers, but no one gave a youngster the opportunity to gain experience. Perhaps a land-based operation could help? She decides to listen in, if there was a cue for her to join in. She certainly wasn't the "big warrior" the elven swashbuckler had spoken of...

"Yeah, a big warrior, and someone with some fire power, remember, these are flying creatures, we may need someone who can knock them out of the sky."

Val turns to the gnome and says simply, "I shoot birds"

"You shoot things?" Arei turns around to the tall woman, "What is your name?" She asks, giving a grin.

'Name is Val, and I shoot things, see" As she gestures to the long bow strapped to her pack

"Then you'll be perfect." Arei says patting her on the back. "What about you sorcerer? As long as we recruiting random people in a bar.." She looks the Storm Mage up and down. "And you, we could use a Cleric, you look... Interested."

Arei spins around in an exaggerated motion, she moves with grace and flair.

"So... Birdmen, live in the hills, we probably need some rope.." She comments back to Grey.

"Indeed... We'll need a bit more, too."Dahn looks around at everyone, "Once we've decided we've recruited enough people for this, I'm gonna make a trip through town to see what sort of tools I can get my hands on."

"What kind of tools are you thinking of?" Ouragana joins the conversation.

"I would expect he means climbing tools and the like. Give me a rope, I can climb it." she grins, "I will join you." she states matter of factly.

Val turns to Arie, and says "for gold?"

She doesn't wait for a response before taking a large swallow from her glass.

"I believe that is the idea." Arei says with a smirk.

"At fifty gold a head, and if there are at least ten of them," Jocelyn says, counting on her fingers. "Then split up between five of us, that's...uh...a lot of gold." Math was never her strongest point.
