Oh, yeah. I heard on the Daily Show about how freezing cold it is up in New York at the moment.

Meanwhile, over here in Washington on the other side of the country, I haven't seen a single snowflake all winter.

I think there's some confusion here. The stable is where Locky and Babushka just departed from! See, this post where I describe that Artemis and Jeremy's gelding are already present? Then here again.

Sorry, I got myself led away. I was under the impression that there was only one stable in town, but when you didn't object to Jen's first mentions of going here or there, I thought I was mistaken.

But no matter where they are, Babushka is trying to find out if the animals are going to get along OK on the trip or if there are some that should better be kept separate. I would not want to have to take care of two stallions fighting for dominance in the middle of a cursed forest!

Well, when Jenara said Locky was taking them to the inn, I thought she meant the actual inn proper. (Although I admit I had no idea why she would do that; I assumed she wanted to show them off to the other party members.)

There are two active stables in town; one for griffons and one for horses. Artemis, Dekker and Jeremy's gelding were all housed in the latter, which is also where the new horses were purchased from.

As for the horses getting along...I don't know what kind of mechanic would be used for that. Let's just assume they all get along. Even if they don't, Babushka's ranger powers can calm them down anyway.

When Jerrard asks for rope, does he mean in addition to the 50 feet of silk rope he is currently carrying and the 20 feet of hemp rope on Dekker?

I will punch him and remind him to read his inventory next time!

I'll suggest he removes that.

Well, it was possible he just wanted more rope in addition to what he had, so that's why I asked to be sure, before he spent more money.
