Jocelyn and Ouragana, Hallway, Queen of Harts Inn 2F
"Of course, Pastor," Andar says. "But...would Val or Baeros not be a better suited bodyguard? I think I proved in the jungle I can barely handle a blade these days."

Ouragana approaches Andar's door to find Jocelyn is already there, speaking to him.

Baeros, Reception Area, Queen of Harts Inn 1F
After hearing the ranger's explanation, the receptionist sends someone up to unlock Baeros' room for him so he can get back inside and reclaim his ring.

"Perhaps they are, but Val can be a little unpredictable at times even though she is an imposing figure. I don't quite know enough about Baeros just yet to feel completely safe around him. You did just fine out there, by the way. It was mostly us that managed to get you hurt."

Baeros and his dogs follow the server up the stairs and in to his room making a lot of noise running up the stairs and in the floor corridor. Once in the room Baeros quickly puts the ring on his finger and apologies, "Thank you very much. I'm not used to all this tricks you elves do. Magic here, magic there... but I admit it's quiet comfortable. Anyway, thanks again. I will guard the ring better now." Then Baeros and his dogs follow back the server to the main hall, again making a lot of commotion.
In the main hall Baeros goes to the desk and asks for a 'Real' meal. A steak and potato accompanied by a mug of ale. He looks around for somewhere to sit. Then remembering he never got answer about the costs of this place he asks at the desk, "Err... can you tell me again how much for a night does a single room costs?"

Ouragana approaches Jocelyn and Andar and waits for a break in their converstaion. "I think we should all meet in Areilon's suite after dinner and discuss what we want to do tomorrow, what do you think?" she asks then.

Jocelyn and Ouragana, Hallway, Queen of Harts Inn 2F
"Very well, Pastor," Andar says, stepping out of his room and closing the door behind him.

He nods to Ouragana. "That sounds a fine idea to me."

Baeros, Reception Area, Queen of Harts Inn 1F
The receptionist puts in an order for a steak and potatoes and ale for Baeros. "Did you want that sent up to your room, as well?" she asks.

"A single room is 5 gold pieces a night," she replies in answer to his question.

Jocelyn nods to Ouragana. "We will be there tonight then," she says. "Andar, when you are done with your bath, I'll be in the main room waiting for you."

"No, I'll have it here." Completing his scan of the room he points to a free spot. "I'll sit right there." Then he looks back at the receptionist, "Five gold?!? well, coins are not magically appearing in my pocket, but I'll manage that... Can you recommend on shops for supplies for a journey? Food, clothing, weapons, healing, and.. well... I dunno... maybe magical assistance that can help a warrior?"

With confirmation, Ouragana then heads up to speak with Areilon in her suite. The elf gives her consent to the mage's plan, as well.

Jocelyn, waiting for Andar to bathe, heads downstairs, where she finds Baeros (his two dogs in tow) speaking with the receptionist.

"There are a number of provisioners in town," the receptionist says. "We also have a number of weavers and a fine clothier, weaponsmiths and armorers. As for healing and magic, I'd suggest you seek one of the local temples of Octhanus for the former and the local wizard's guild--the Thundergulls--for the latter. If you are not a follower of Octhanus, we also have a temple to Crizza, as well. If you like, I can hire you a Dragoman who can guide you to each of these places."

"I guess my healing isn't enough?" Jocelyn asks in amusement as she comes up behind Baeros.

Ouragana returns to her room. She lies on her bed and begins to think about their journey and what she would need in terms of equipment and spells to become more proficient. But, weary from the road, she dozes off quite quickly.

Turning around Baeros says smiling from ear to ear, "Hey Jocelyn. Didn't see you coming. You saved us back there but I'm sure you wouldn't mind if it didn't all fall upon you alone. I think I saw Val and Arei drinking healing potions. That quiet a good idea. Want to join me for a second meal? My first one was pretty small." Looking back at the receptionist he says, "No guide is needed, only direction to the business center of the city please."

"Well, I'm not sure I'm going to eat, but I'll join you while I wait for Andar," Jocelyn says in agreement. "And healing is really what I'm good for in this group," she admits.

Baeros's eyes widen with pleasure as he sees his food, and he distractedly smiles at Jocelyn response. Taking the plate he leads the way before Jocelyn to an empty table.
"Sure you don't want anything?" Baeros gestures at the food. "At least a small bite of the bread. I never ate bread so tasty before. Maybe these elves uses magic even in their cooking." his eyebrows raised in some suspicion, but quickly he gets back to the food, all suspicion gone. "So what do you think should be our next move?"

"I ate after my bath," Jocelyn assures him as she takes a seat at his table. "As for our next move, we have a few options I guess," she says with a small shrug. "We can get a boat of our own, and go after the pirates that way. Though, that means it would just be us, and I don't think that would be the best idea. My idea was to find the Bullring. We have friends upon that ship that would be willing to help us. The problem is that while we were traveling here, they were on their way to Immerfort. They could be somewhere else by now, so we would have to get a hold of their itinerary to find out where they are now."
