"Sorry about that! I slipped in my own blood!" Galanis says apologetically cleaning the blood on his shirt, takes few more steps away from the zombies and shots two more arrows the first hit it's mark while the other, well, doesn't.

Angel swings her blade widely, missing completley.

With a triumphant shout, Liri at last drives her blade through the skull base of the crawling zombie.

Galanis drops another zombie with a well-placed arrow to the face.

Egg chops at another zombie with his falchion. The swing misses the thing's head but cuts deeply into its shoulder, nearly severing its arm.

The zombie at Liri's feet shudders and then lays still.

"Egg!!! Get your ass right here before the walking dead will get it for you!" Galanis the Mule shouts while firing arrows at the zombies targeting Egg.

So z1 gets critically hit and then AC0 so 8+7 = 15hp! Then assuming he is dead z6 it hit (AC3) for 13hp!)

(OOC: Yes, that was nice rolls! Just to remind you few days ago I had critical fumble... but let's be optimistic and hope some of the luck will rub upon them too. In any case it seems we have evened the odds against the zombies.)

Liri sheathes her blade and steps over from the zombie who is now really dead at last. She draws three darts and waits for the next zombie to come within range.

[OOC:] switching from gladius to darts because the potential damage per round is higher. She'll retreat if the zombie's movement rate would make it close on her during the round of switching weapons [/OOC]

[OOC]@ Jen - Yeah, I'm not even going to mention anything about how the best fighter in the party is being shown up by a guy who's half mage and two levels lower. You know, because that would just be mean. [/OOC]



Egg's swing encounters only air - as the zombie he was swinging at falls to Galanis' arrow. Galanis follows up with another arrow, downing yet another zombie. Only two zombies remain on their side of the field.

Angel charges past on Praesul, swinging to her off-hand side and missing both times.

Liri stands ready, darts in hand. Of the three zombies in the vicinity of her and Angel, one is crawling on the ground, its legs useless, and one is badly mauled.

All the zombies continue to advance towards the adventurers, and the wagon, at the best speed they can manage.

[OOC] Let's bring this thing home...[/OOC]

Liri throws her darts at the head of the zombie who is alreday badly mauled. dart attack [1d20] = 13, [1d20] = 12, [1d20] = 10, but her aim isn't good.

"Oh by the gods..." Angel.curses as she swings her blade again, missing once more.

Its so bloody frustrating!!!!

Galanis again takes few steps back then draws two arrows from his quiver and shoots the zombies close to Egg and himself. His first arrow misses but the second one hit it's mark.

Galanis puts down yet another zombie.

Egg, in a show of brutal sword work, chops the top of the nearest zombie's head off and kicks the body down before it can fall on its own.

Liri misses the mark with her darts, nearly hitting Angel's horse in the process.

And a frustrated Angel considers dismounting and fighting on foot.

The three remaining zombies continue to advance, one crawling on its elbows and dragging its useless legs behind it.

"Egg! Go protect Liri, I'll aid Angel." Galanis shouts and shoots two more arrows at the zombies attacking his commander but misses both.
