Searos snorts at the word "caravan" but follows along without saying anything.

"I don't know, that encounter was interesting." She goes silent as they walk up the hill away from the beach, "Do I scare you? I think I scare many people."

"Why would you scare me or anyone for that matter?"

"I've seen the way you recoil when I touch you. I know the low voices are talking about the 'Monster'." She responds, giving Searos a knowing smile. "I've faced it all my life."
"I reached out to Amon, and he ran away, our friendly Merchant recoiled when she knew the darkness in me...." Shrugging she strokes her medallion, "Perhaps I am supposed to be alone."

"I have no idea what you're talking about. And even if I did, it has nothing to do with your skin. It has everything to do with that symbol you carry around."

"Because I believe there is a higher power? Interesting." She ponders, giving him a nod of thanks.

Searos rolls his eyes. "Don't be daft, Bright Eyes. I'm a proper gods fearing man. I just happen to not particularly like the one you follow. I do my best work in the dark and in the shadows. We have a bit of a professional disagreement."

"Of course." Brax replies with a shrug, "That makes sense."

"All the sense in the world. So, whats next? We solved this little mystery, got paid, though the gods know we can't actually sell these pearls in any of these crap villages. We'll need a city for that."

"I would like to sail to find the smugglers, find their lair." Brax responds, "What about the rest of you?"
Does their campsite appear clear?

Giulietta's caravan has cleared the campsite, though in line with their carelessness about other's belongings or feelings, they left the bones and other refuse of their meal lying around. The ground has become partly kicked up and mudy, but under the trees and bushes, there is some untouched lawn left, it would be OK to sleep under the stars there (except of course Kim who has a one-man tent. For the time being, the weather is clear, though it might rain later in the night. This is the coast, after all, and there has been no rain for two consecutive days.

Finding a clear spot Brax lays out her bedroll, making sure she is next to both Gunter and Vee.
"We have some choices, first is the Jester, he seems adamant in joining us." She says as she explains about Martin to Oren. "The next is what we do next, The Council no doubt want us to lead a mission to get these Smugglers, I think we should." Removing her armor she lays on her tummy, propped up by her elbows.
"We take turns to watch, Oren and Gunter, Kim and Vee, and m and Searos last. Agreed?" She gives Searos a wink, before looking for Gunters reaction.

Searos starts absently whittling a random stick with his dagger. "Ugh, I forgot about Patches. That guy seems like nothing but trouble. Trust me, I would know. As to the smugglers, I'm half inclined to let these people suffer. They're rude and stupid besides. The only thing that makes me think we should deal with these smugglers is to see what kind of loot they have. Plus, I feel like I could run their operation better. So there's also that."
At the suggestion of the watch, Searos stretches and starts to set up a tent, "Sounds fine to me. I'd rather get a full night's rest as it is."

(Ahem... where does Searos take the tent from? They had to give back the equipment they were given in Dunreese.)

(ooc: A good point! No where!)
Upon realizing that they have no tents again, Searos mutters about ingrates podunk towns and simply unrolls his bedroll and lies down with his back to everyone else. "Wake me up when its my turn..."
