Surge: [1d20]=15

Vic pulls on his Chaotic Magic energy and sends an invisible bolt of Psychic energy to the top giant. An thinly veiled insult of his lineage, being infested with dwarves and goblins.

He moves 15' up. Shoots at the one he can see, and then returns.

Round 5

The squashed elk shrinks into the form of a bruised Isaril somehow still wielding his shield. The wood elf gestures with his free hand and there is a waft of warm air and grassy odours. The bruising looks less angry. He draws his scimitar and slashes at the tree-wielding female. [SE, AC14, 7 slash]

Val still flanks the dim-witted female and announces, "! understood the female say the great king is coming. Do we need to get out of here?" He swings his halberd scoring a bloody line, not once, but twice, across the creature's back. [SE, AC16, 9 slash & AC18, 13 slash] She howls but keeps fighting.

Meanwhile, a little further south..

Vic will poke out, if the female is still there, he will fire another Chaos Bolt at her. If not, he will poke out to see the male.

Once the others go, I will show his movement on Roll20

It's been twelve days since calling for actions for round 5 and haven't heard from SQL so I'm going to keep this moving. Unbar on autopilot will Dodge. Bonus action for Unbar is still available if SQL reappears before roun 6 is posted.

Meanwhile, a little further south Unbar continues successfully avoiding the large male’s hefty length of wood just as Vic pokes out and two arrows whizz across the cavern. From the northern darkness one breaks on the ground where Isaril’s foot had been a heartbeat earlier. The other, from the ledge to Vic’s north, just nicks the sorcerer’s thigh. [goblin #5, AC17, 3 pierce] Undeterred Vic hurls a scintillating bolt of energy at the northern tree-wielder! Its tree thumps to the ground as the creature dies, chest consumed by acid from Vic’s crystalised packet of chaos. Vic’s attention is taken by a popping noise behind him as a unicorn from thin air. The impressive creature lowers its head and tenderly rests its magical horn on Vic’s massive bruising. [Vic: +11HP cured] It gives Vic a gentle nudge towards the cavern area as if waiting to gain access itself.

Shuffling noises in the darkness get closer. The authoritative voice sounds from near the central rock columns, "Yousa getta in here!" As if in response a scrawny goblin [#9] dashes briefly into view from the northwest. It tries to shelter behind a heap of rocks. The unicorn neighs softly and gestures with its horn towards Val. The air around Val glows briefly. [Val gains a +2 bonus to AC until the end of the unicorn's next turn]

Val still has his movement. I have moved him in roll 20 so Unbar will get advantage on the attack in round 6.

Round 6

With his free hand Isaril gestures towards Vic. There is another waft of warm air and grassy odours and Vic feels less battered. [Vic regains +4HP & 1 temp HP] With the nine-foot-tall female down the wood elf makes an inspired climb onto the eastern ledge to join the troublesome archer. [#5] Quickly drawing his scimitar Isaril slashes at the goblin [#5, AC15, 5 slash] who tumbles backwards to hit the cavern floor. The archer lays motionless.

Val moves determinedly south to flank the eight-foot-tall male who he slashes punishingly across the shoulder. [Something, AC23, 12 slash]

Already benefitting from his Shield of Faith Unbar takes advantage of the distraction provided by Val and catches the same large foe with a warhammer backswing to the ribs. [Something, AC13, 6 crush]

The authoritative voice sounds from the central rock columns, “Yousa die when I say so!” and the motionless archer recently attacked by Isaril rolls over, gets wobblily to its feet, and pulls out its short sword to strike at Vic. [#5, AC11, 4 pierce] There a thump and some swearing further west in the cavern followed by the sound of feet scampering closer.

The large bloke slams his tree trunk iat Unbar. [#S, AC19, 12 crush][/1] It's barely, but successfully deflected by the cleric’s Shield of Faith! A handful of heartbeats later and arrow whizzes from the west, missing Unbar by many inches. [#3, AC15]

Meanwhile, Vic carefully backs away from the nearby goblin [#5] and successfully climbs up onto the southeastern ledge. No sooner is the sorceror on the move when the unicorn emerges into the cavern, looks around, moves north and wheels back to charge the large tree-wielding male. There is a small bloody line on the majestic quadruped's flank, courtesy of the ignored goblin. [#5, AC15, 4 slash] The unicorn's horn punches a hole in its opponent's side. [unicorn, AC15, 16 pierce] The impact causes him to stagger and take a large pace backwards but he stays on his feet and avoids the unicorn's hooves.

The gathered forces start to emerge. A trio of goblins attack! Despite flanking, one [#7] misses the unicorn. The shimmering, magical field around Val disappears and reappears around Vic*. Ordinary scimitar attacks whiff the air at least twelve inches from Val [#8] and Unbar. [#9] As the blade is swung vaguely in Unbar's direction the unicorn lashes out with its hooves and strikes the tree-wielder. [Unicorn, AC14, 8 crush] Scant secons later a pair of heavier goblins trot out andhack at the unicorn's flanks. [#BG1 misses] [BS2, AC14, 8 slash]

A fellow with a big crown, an evven bigger ego and the the most evil of grins wanders out. He points at Vic and snaps a finger. A small column of white flame briefly fills the space Vic had been occupying only a heartbeat before! It's clear that this is the owner of the authoritative voice, as he calls out, "Yousa getta in here!" As if in response a rather beefy looking goblin trots into view from the west. It cuts figures of eights in the iar with its pair of scimitars.
