Vic will disengage(action) then try to climb up to where the pink arrow points.

Swearing about how he is trying to avoid these damages, instead of being a punching bag.

That's a critical hit.

The idea is for Vic to move to his position, shoot an Ice Knife at the circled enemy, hitting everyone around it, unfortunately also the Unicorn.

Round 7

Isaril tries to shoot the green-skinned fellow wearing the crown but rushes the shot and misses by a good arrow length. As the arrow breaks on the stone the crown-wearer shouts, ”Whata you waitin’ for?” which creates a frenzy of activity as all of the other goblins either move [without provoking AoO] or attack. [#5, #4, #3 & the bigger goblin all move] [#7, #9 & two big goblins successfully attack the unicorn for a total of 23 slash] [#8 misses Val]

Val slices the large tree-wielder across the back of the neck. [#SE, AC24, 16 slash] The creature releases its hold on both the tree trunk and life. Both fall to the ground.

Unbar seems to have fallen quiet again, but seems to manage to avoid most blows.

The goblin [#5] that climbed back on the ledge feebly whiffs its sword at Isaril as a pair of diminutive archers shoot at Val. [#4, AC19, 3 pierce] [#3, AC22, 8 pierce]

Thankful for not being a punchbag, at least for the moment, Vic focuses his thoughts and points at the goblin [#7] directly behind the unicorn. A razor sharp shard of ice slices through the air along the path from finger to goblin. The goblin is sliced to the bone [#5, 5 cold] and is covered in blood as the shard explodes, fragments shredding the flesh of the same goblin and all within five foot, including the bloodied unicorn. As the spell’s initial target collapses to the ground, the goblin’s king shouts, “Yousa die when I say so!” and the goblin [#7] shakes itself back to consciousness.

The limping unicorn kicks backwards to smash the same goblin to pulp [#7, AC23, 13 crush] and somehow manages a ridiculously tight U-turn before impaling the crown-wearer. [King, AC19, 12 pierce]

At the southern end of the cave one of the goblins flanking Val hacks at him. [#8, AC20, 6 slash] As the scimitar slices at Val, a shimmering rainbow momentarily surrounds the unicorn. Some of its wounds appear to have closed. It is wounded, but no longer limping.

Nearby a goblin slices at Unbar, but the blade just slides along the dwarf’s armour. [#9, AC15, 3 slash] The pair of big goblins flanking the unicorn leave another bloody line on the noble creature’s side. The goblin’s king shows them how to do it, grinning evilly as its scimitar misses the quadruped once but slices it on the chest and leg. It is covered in blood again. The vocal crown-wearer rasises his voice again, "Yousa getta in here!" As if in response a weedy-looking goblin [#10] trots into view to stand near its summoner.

The beefy goblin flanking Val tries to scallop the mountain man. [BiggerG, AC23, 8 slash]

Val will use his reaction to reduce the damage on one of the attacks in round 7.
[1d12]=9+3 = 12 but I only reduce 8.

Round 8, Val attack the big goblin south of him.
Attack: [1d20+5]=20+5=25
That's a critical hit. He will use his divine grace to use a hit dice to heal : [1d10]=10 +3 = 13
Damage:[1d10+3]=9+3=12 + [1d10+3]=2+3=5 : reroll the 2
[1d10+3]=10+3=13
Total Damage = 25

Since Chris is being nice and allowing me to give Unbar an action in round 7, Unbar will attempt to smack the goblin in front of him (#9) with his warhammer
Warhammer To Hit(5): [1d20+5]=1+5=6 , Damage(3): [1d8+3]=4+3=7 (a nice critical miss)
With a sigh and a shake of his head, Unbar tries again in round 8
Warhammer To Hit(5): [1d20+5]=12+5=17 , Damage(3): [1d8+3]=8+3=11

Round 8

On the ledge to the east Isaril slides his scimitar from its sheath and slides it into the persistent goblin’s chest cavity [#5, AC26crit!, 14 slash] and gives the weapon a vicious twist before kicking the goblin off the ledge. “Let’s see you come back from that!” Almost as an afterthought the elf points his blade at Val and utters a Healing Word. [Val regains+7HP]

Using the momentum from his previous swing Val puts his full weight behind his glaive and spins round to bury the blade in the side of the goblin just south of him. [#Bigger Goblin, AC25 crit!, 25 slash] As the poleaxed goblin drops, the goblin’s king shouts, “Yousa die when I say so!” and unbelievably the fallen goblin gasps as its eyes shoot open and it resumes breathing. Val tugs his weapon free from the prone body just as the commanding voice continues, “KILL!” and all the able goblins in melee gain two attacks. [Val: AC21, 7 slash & AC19, 5 slash] [Unbar: AC23, 5 slash & AC24 crit! 10 slash] [Unicorn: total 27 slash] The flanking assault overcomes the mystical unicorn and it dissipates leaving no trace.

An arrow flashes from the shadows at the cavern entrance and takes a green-skinned archer in the ear, [#3: AC21, 15 pierce] exiting through the other side. The goblin expires. Before any have really assimilated the intrusion a slightly down-at-heel elf steps from the southern shadows and plants an arrow in the chest of another diminutive archer. [#4, AC16, 13 pierce] The elf takes a pace back into the gloom.

Unbar clonks his warhammer on the cavern wall, looking as if he’s dropped it. As Unbar’s goblin glances south to see what’s happening the cunning drawrf whips his warhammer round and smacks his distracted foe under the chin. [#9, AC17, 11crush] Its head snaps back and bones break. It drops, dead.

Next Vic moves to the edge of his ledge and tries to Knife the golbin's king with a shard of Ice. It hits the rocky column obscuring the feellow with the crown but does peppers the immediate area with cold glass-like fragments. [King saves, Big Goblin #1 saves, '1 fails] The weedy-looking goblin [#10] pitches worwards and lays on the ground seeping blood as it dies. Before Vic can move back to slink behind the rocky cover [+2AC] a spikey, pallid disk, three foot in diameter, trailing dozens of writhing tentacles appears next to Vic. It's two eyestalks try to reach for the ceiling as they focus on the sorceror and its tentacles go rigid as if electocuted. Vic steps back behind the meagre cover and the weird disk thing floats off into the dark tunnel to the east. Vic's voice emerges from behind the rocks, "Keep it up boys!"

The goblin [#8] to Val's north tries to cut the mountain man down but ties too hard and nearly drops its sword. [#8, AC6, misses]

One of the big goblins [#BG1] moves carefully past Unbar and slashes at the dwarf's rear. A heartbeat latter the other big goblin [#BG2] steps forwards to flank Unbar and assail him. Neither penetrate the cleric's sturdy armour. Perhaps noting this, the crown-wearer moves behind Unbar and raises his voice again, "Yousa getta in here!" A weedy-looking goblin [#11] dashes into view to stand next to Unbar, forming a flanking position with its summoner. The leader makes three slashes with its scimitar, only one possibly troubling Unbar. [Unbar: AC21, 9 slash]

The bigger gobli climbs to its feet and slashes at Val's flank, swinging recklesly* with both scimitars. [#BiggerG, AC15, 8 slash; AC18, 7 slash] [*Attacks on this goblin before its next turn will be with advantage]

Ranged gets disadvantage vs Prone targets.
Attacks with-in 5' get advantage
But ranged attacks made with opponent with-in 5' get disadvantage

Dargon Lonewolf wrote:...Steps out from cover and lets another arrow fly...at the Prone Big Goblin...Any Prone Bonus?...
He's now stood up, but he attacked recklessly, so Luka has advantage on the attack. EDIT: oops, would have had advantage on the attack; Val has just killed the bigger goblin (that was wielding two scimitars.

======
Attacking a prone target with a ranged attack usually gives disadvantage.
Attacking with a melee weapon, if stood within 5' of prone target, is with advantage.

Val attacks with advantage the big goblin.
Attack: [1d20+5]=14+5=19
[1d20+5]=3+5=8
Damage: [1d10+3]=1+3=4
reroll because of great-weapon fighting:
[1d10+3]=10+3=13

Second wind to gain HPs: [1d10]=5 + 3 = 8
Val is now at 25 HPs.
