Dahn, turns to Arei and says"Climbing will be an after thought, I wanna see If they'll fall for some Dah- Er, Mister Grey style traps."
Dahn dramatically points a finger strait into the air.
"Let's See if those creatures will come to us!"

"Alright, I'm in, too. What do we do first then?" Jocelyn asks.

"Okay, we're gonna need some explosives, some decently realistic effigies of cows, someone good with rope, good enough to make a large net, someone who can make some decent ballistas capable of launching non-conventional ammunition, and a big, spring loaded, collapsible wall of spikes. Some one who might be able to get a...discount would be handy, and a guide, so I can get a better idea of the area we have to work with." Dahn looks over to check if the guards are still in the tavern.
"Before we get started,I have some business with the wardens, anyone interested is free to tag along."
"Ches," the increasingly excited gnome says to the farmer,"any idea on how many of these thing we should be expecting?10? 50? 100? more?"

"Can...can you afford all of that?" Jocelyn asks, looking into her belt pouch. She somehow doubted her two and a half gold coins could cover all of those expenses.

"Shouldn't be more than a dozen, tops," Chester says in answer to the gnome's question. "It's hard to say, though. Ain't had a proper look at their nest before."

"Oh, well, if the numbers are that low,I guess we could just rush into the lair and kill 'em," Dahn let's out a disappointed sigh,"how dull."
"Still", he continues, already over his disappointment, "I gotta get myself deputized before we get this all started, prior arrangements, ya know."

Val listens to the weird gnomes plans, and most of it goes way over her head. When the mention of a net comes up however, she adds, "I can make net".


She looks the group over wearily, judging their chance of success thinking that this could be an interesting mission, but 10 gold is only a fraction of their first kill, so she offers. "I have gold, but want it repaid from the first bird killed."

"Yes, money is something I can contribute, too" Ouragana pipes up. If the discussion is loud, she may have to say it several times, because her voice is breezy and not loud at all.

Arei leans back slightly, smiling a little smile to herself. Sipping her not so great wine she listens to the chats once again, before pointing at the Gnome. "I will accompany you, I wish to speak with these Wardens."

Jocelyn looks at the elf and gnome. "The Wardens? They're the local constable force, right? You want to join them? Um...count me out of that. I'm not really the law enforcement type."

"Oh, me either, I have no intention of Joining them." Arei gives a subtle look towards "Grey" that couldn't be his real name. "But It would be nice to know the rules round here." And to see if any boats were hiring.

"Call it curiousity." The elf grins, the scar on her cheek visible for a moment.

"Will you come back here after that?" Ouragana asks the group.

"I plan to." Arei says simply, "We should head out after some food."

"All right," Jocelyn says. "That'll give me time to finish my meal before the good pastor finishes it for me," she explains, looking over her shoulder to the bald and overweight hobbit in vestments she arrived with.

"well, let me know when you're ready, and we'll be headin' out."
After speaking, Dahn leans back in his chair and ponders to himself*Hmm, should I reveal my real name to the wardens? It's not as if I'm hiding my past, it's partly because it's true that people get annoyed with a gnomes collection of names,and partly a safety, in case I do get my self into trouble... But it's mainly for the simple humor of it...Hmmm, fried birdman wings.*

Ouragana approaches the thoughtful gnome and sits down at his table.

"I have heard of explosives, but never saw anyone use them. If you know how to handle them, I would very much like to learn that from you."
