Hollidan blinks at her request. "Uh, sure, I can do that; no problem."

"Thanks. I'm going with Argis into the cave," she explains.

"Hey, be careful, alright? There's no telling what might be down there," Hollidan says. "After all, dragons nested up here once upon a time."

"I will," Echo promises. She looks like she might say more, but she apparently decides against it as she walks away to meet Argis and the others at the cave.

"Do you have everything you need?" Argis asks when she approaches. "Depending on how big this cavern is, it may be awhile before we return."

"I have my rations, water, spellbook, and the wand I used in the last cave I was in," Echo says. That was about really all she needed to survive.

"Very well then. I'll take point," Argis says. "You and your kobold in the middle, and the clerics will cover the rear. Let us be off."

Echo nods and follows after the paladin, figuring Keet will follow along with her.

The party of five steps into the caverns and disappear into the darkness. Argis draws the Purifier sword, and its magical glow illuminates the cavern like a cold, white torch. "This way," he says, leading.

The cave bends in different directions and seems to slowly be sloping downward. After about five minutes of walking, Argis calls for a halt and kneels down. "Hmm, something is half buried here in the ground. Looks like an old rusted tool," he says.

Echo moves a little closer to Argis to check out the tool in the ground. "It is possible that this cave was mined or something along those lines a long time ago," she offers.

While this is going on, Keet moves a bit further down the tunnel on his own, outside the range of the Purifier's light so he can use his infravision. He kneels down and starts sniffing around curiously.

Echo looks up as Keet walks off. "Keet?" she asks. "What are you doing?"

"Me is searching...for clues," Keet says. "Also, treasure."

"Clues? Clues of what?" Echo asks.

"Clues...of peoples living here," Keet says. "Oh, what this?" he asks himself, sniffing at something on the ground.
