and the war of the lance game going on currently in another forum...
Now... meeting the other game's characters would be a sweet crossover... talk to JadedDM.

I know this is an observation, but I am going to take this as a challenge.
This Kender loves living.

Oh dear:
CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!
Gentlemen, start your rolling!
Hmm... I think I'll roll up an extra healer NPC... might be needed soon...
As for Jaded's game, I doubt that will happen. This aspect of Krynn is about a year later time-wise. I also doubt he'll let me do it since I have a char in his game... no DMing for your own pcs
To Pyros.
You mentioned 'uncle Tas' demise at the foot of chaos... that's a bit into the future, but i think I have a fix.
Later we learn Tas didn't die but used a time-travel device to escape. Let's say he came back and regailed you with the story, but it hasn't happened yet. Many kender claim to have an 'uncle Tas', but yours was the real deal. Current year for Pyros and Mira on Krynn is late spring 353, just after the dragonlances are made and used to push back the blue army at Palanthus.

The DM rolls on a table of possible outcomes. I'm allowing more narrowed groups for characters if they want. If no 'group' us selected I'll use the table from 'Complete Wizard'... that's how Sorbo got his monkey.

I just got back from my vacation. I’m going to try to get everyone’s individual threads wrapped up in the next couple of weeks in an effort to get the main campaign underway. A few characters have made the transition to Ravenloft already, and the others are fairly close so I think it will go smoothly.

So now that we've got several posts for each individual thread I'd like to get some feedback from you guys. As I may have mentioned, this is my first round at DMing in a while. Are you guys enjoying the story, the style and do you have any recommendations or concerns for me?
And please no suggestions of "why don't you give us an extra 5,000 XP or a solid-gold suit of +5 field plate

Think you are doing great, and your descriptions are wonderful.
But whyyyyyy can't I have everything I want!? Lol
In all seriousness it will be interesting to see all the group together, to see how we all interact.

Great so far. I am having fun with the Kender. I have a feeling I will be able to start many shenanigans for the group.
Oh and don't go to sleep!!!
I GM SR 5E and D&D 2E for my gaming group, and I like the style. I generally do SR gm'ing on the fly, and this seems to be how you are ad libbing our interactions.
Having a lot of fun, keep it up!

Glad you two are enjoying it

Ok Mira/Jenara. You can have a Platinum 19,000 sq ft castle with diamond windows and mithril doorknobs and hinges... but its about 500 miles below the ocean... on a different planet... in a different plane... but it's
yours!
Pyros/Nocturno. Glad you're enjoying the kender. I think I told you I'm playing one in another Ravenloft game set in the Nightmare Lands. I kind of have a soft spot for the little maniacs in general
And yes, I do most of the conversation bits off-the-cuff. It feels more genuine to me, somehow. The npc doesn't know what the character is going to say, so why should I stop and agonize about it? I usually just glance over the npc itself and the last few posts before responding in-voice. It usually works well enough for me.

That may be well and fine but i don't care about your warning... I WANT MY +5 FULL PLATE! i swear I left it right by the door!
also, I am enjoying it immensely, I may have a new belt soon, or a cloak! only the finest for me!

Ok ok, you can have it... you just have to take it from the Ancient Red Dragon Deathwyrm that has it.
As for the new gear, I keep having visions of the Seinfeld episode where George buys a fur hat to replace the Sable one he lost... it turns out the knock-off is made of rat, and comes apart in the rain. "This is a poorly made hat... even by rat-hat standards..."
