More than half the time I end up being a Fighter/Cleric who gets tired with the groups moaning and lolly gagging.

One of my fighters got tired of the group theif detecting traps forever, he just started to set them off by walking down hallways. Everyone just hung 50 ft back.

Lol, you wouldn't get through too many traps that way in most games I've seen :lol:

Well it was around level 5 I think... lol..

Fell into a couple pit traps... those almost killed me.

Kender must be good for local economies... getting money flowing that would normally be stuck in pockets and pouches...

About reducing spellbook costs:
Bookbinding and Papermaking are NWPs from PO: Spells and Magic. Full details on the Purple Worm
Both are NWPs allowed to the Wizard group (1 slot, Int +0)

Using either takes time but reduces the cost of a spellbook by 50%
Using both reduces the cost by 75%

Bookbinding takes 2 weeks + 1 day/5pgs, and requires supplies and chemicals and, naturally, the paper. It also needs to be kept dry and from being jostled around a lot (so you can't work on one while traveling usually.

Papermaking takes 1 to 2 weeks and requires a mufacturing area with suitable equipment.

Jerry has learned that Serath can teach bookbinding, and his contact can teach papermaking.

Of course Artanis has to suggest going outside of the walls - the exact opposite of what Mira "suggested".
And what better way that to make the suggestion than to the inquisitive kender.

The Ranger take orders from a courtesan? (Yes, he still thinks that Mira is a courtesan, but he (and I) keep that low key now.
