Re: Act 2 Scene 3: “To 'Where the Old Bones Lie'” (Game Thre
"Well, has anyone ever seen, heard or read about anything like this?" asked Jerry reflexively, whilst wracking her own brains for the same. Unless anyone has a better idea she starts taking a circuit around of the structure,"Maybe there's a door round the other side?"
======
Is this structure or the raven symbology anything that Jerry recognize?
Ancient History (18) or Religion (14) might be relevant?
Stretching the envelope, maybe Astrology (19)?

"LookatthatThatisamazingAndthestatue!"

"My goodness." Cross will try to reference his knowledge also for any meaning of the building or the statue atop it.

Elsa scans the undead on the ledges, hefting her mace; a look of determination on her features. Adrestia scans the area closely, I don't see an entrance... You may be right that there is one along another side... or it could simply be hidden.
Artanis tests his bowstring, keeping his eyes on the canyon walls ahead and behind. Merrick tugs at his sling apprehensively; eyes fixated on the massive raven.
===
The physical structure of a ziggurat is not unknown as an ancient architectural feature but not terribly helpful. the raven
motif has no special meaning to the party members. The prominence and position of the giant raven implicate it is a protector or subject of honor; or both
One square is 10 feet. Let me know if anyone is moving around it, where and how.
No entrances are visible along the East side.

Cross stays in the middle of the party.
Pyros will help Artanis take up the rear, unless requested to scout.
"I can scout it out if you like."

"Skeletons are vulnerable to blunt weaponry," offers Jerry. She stays next to Merrick.
"I think we should do a circuit of the building. Maybe not too close to it initially though."
======
Does Jerry recognize the (type of) skeletons?

[they seem to be standard skeletons from here, but there is no way to know for sure in this strange land unless she engages one more closely]
Re: Act 2 Scene 3: “To 'Where the Old Bones Lie'” (Game Thre
"Well, this isnt what I expected to find, but then the description does it justice for sure." Mira whistles in awe as she regards the structrure. "I saw things like this in Palanthas, they built them to mark the burial place of Great people." Looking up she taps her chin eyes on the Raven.. "I'd say as a guess someone built this place to remember something, perhaps the Ravens watched over them. Just a thought."
"Lets spilt up, half go left, half go right and we look for a door." She waits for a different suggestion, "Blunt weapons.. oh good."

"The songbird is not the eagle and the eagle is not the songbird. Mira, you cannot be everything to everyone - if you do, you end up exhausted, slumped against a wall, in the room of someone you don't particularly like." - Artanis Auir

"In the woods you said we shouldn't split up again, Mira," reflects Jerry. "Nearly got some of us killed. Maybe we should stay together here too. Just walk a bit faster..."

"Then, it was dark, we couldn't see each other. But yeah, we have a while until it gets dark. Shall we."

Jerry nods, feeling a bit compressed for challenging Mira.
She falls in beside Merrick again.

"Cross, you got any more of those invisibility spells left? Without waiting for an answer Pyros takes off to the left.
=======================================
Cross will try to cast it on Pyros before he goes running off. He will run after him in either case.

"That sounds like a useful spell!" comments Jerry, wishing she knew the dweomer.
Re: Act 2 Scene 3: “To 'Where the Old Bones Lie'” (Game Thre
"I have one." Mira replies as she keeps her position, ensuring the group stay in order while circling the structure. "We'll use it when the time is right.." she fully intended to use it on the Kender, he would be ideal to scout like that.
"I'd suggest we check these walls, the door might be hidden in plain sight." Her comment is directed to the elves and the half Elves, and the Sharp eyed Kender. "Everyone else, weapons at the ready."

Re: Act 2 Scene 3: “To 'Where the Old Bones Lie'” (Game Thre
While the group briefly discusses their options, Pyros scampers off to the SouthWest; well before Cross can even begin to recite the requested incantation. Artanis shakes his head ruefully and watches the area around the Kender closely, bow ready.
Adrestia takes a half step forward, then mutters audibly. Kender… they’ll be the death of us all. though the hint of amusement tinges her words slightly. Rather than wait, Elsa trots off behind Pyros; keeping pace with the rogue despite her armor. Her eyes stay warily on the skeletons atop the Ziggurat as she and her companion keep close to the canyon’s north wall. Seeing the halfling take off as well, Artanis gives a sigh and trails the pair; his longer legs allowing him to keep up easily.
Mira waits for her part of the group to be ready before circling around the opposite side. Adrestia goes along with the bard, while Merrick hesitates to see which way Jerry plans to go.
As the groups round their respective corners they can clearly see that the canyon is open around the structure itself, and yet another narrow branch moves off to the south. No entrances can be seen from any side at this distance. (20 feet or more)
The ominous sound of grinding stones is audible from below as the massive raven statue turns to follow the movement of Mira’s group; scintillating ebon eyes tracking the movement…
====
Green dot is Pyros, Elsa, Artanis plus whoever elects to follow them
Red dot is Mira, Adrestia and whomever follows her.
Blue dot is where the party was before moving, or where everyone is left standing that doesn’t follow one of the two groups this round.
The party has been keeping a distance from the structure thus far.

"Slow down you tiny devil!" Cross will say just loud enough for Pyros to hear. If he catches him he will cast the invisibility spell on him.
=====================
"Oy, you are a slow one aren't ya!" He will stop. Once the spell is cast he will start to get closer.
He will pick up a hand full of gravel. "I'll throw a few rocks if I find something."
He will try to move quietly, and observe for anything that might be a door or window.
