Fin begins to move northward through the dark, club ready as he makes his way into the torchlight; keeping an eye on the magical black wall in front of him. Jordek leads Nocturno outside of the magical darkness and away from the enemies into the torchlight. Seeing Fin so banged up, he sends the injured Elf ahead and calls upon his holy power to heal most of Fin's wounds! Sounds of combat still roll out of the darkness as the goblins and worgs try to find their targets. A series of quiet
POP-hiss sounds emerge and the Svirfneblin immediately identifies it as his crystal caltrops being ruptured! With the dark it is impossible to be certain, but it sounds like at least one creature has succumbed to the trap.
Linar tries to convince the goblin rider to follow and protect him. The Wetrock tribesman looks at him suspiciously and simply gestures for the dark elf to move on. Bullock follows Linar as well, causing the goblin to grimace and protests but the pair of adventurers continue on since he doesn't try to physically stop them yet... Katten and Dran make it to the exit as Nocturno, in as quick a staggering gait as he can manage, joins them. Linar and Bullock pass the two Gnomes in the light of Jordek's original torch and on into the dark.
The worg rider following Linar finally makes it past the darkness and sees the gnomes and others beginning to leave.
Hey! Wut dis!? Dey no can go! Get back heere!! he shouts in Orcish. Just as he does so, one of the worgs moves out of the darkness and spots the illuminated gnomes! Rushing forward it prepares to attack Findalsip!! The rock-tender raises his club high and the instant the creature is in range he deals a well-aimed and deadly blow to the top of its head, dropping the injured canine lifeless to the ground!!!
The ensorcelled Worg rider shouts out in his native goblin and charges! Both the rider and Worg retaliate with vicious attacks, but the deep Gnome's new cloak proves once again protection enough!!
