Pyros checks rhe end of the trail again, but finds nothing. Jerry follows along the indicated path, searching the West wall first where the trail moves nearby.
Hmm... there is a seam here that doesn't match up with the pattern in the rest of the paneling... Ah, and here is a small hole, something shiny inside like a lever. Perhaps pressing it will trigger the door?
Moving to the end of the hall where Pyros is investigating she finds another outline.
See how this corner doesn't fit well and the small scratches? I think if we can get something like a dagger in there to pull against the East wall right at the corner, it will open...
[Let's Call the secret doors W and SE]
====
Jerry's 'Observation' NWP really helps with those secret door rolls
She found 2 secret doors and their triggers!
they are where the blue trail meets the middle of the West wall and where it dead-ends to the south.
I'll update them in the map for the next post

Pyros invisibly pouts.
He will check the triggers for traps.
If no trap is found.
If I'm right, this should be the employee quarters."
He will open the door leading to a bedroom.

Pyros wedges a dagger in and pops the panel backward, it swing smoothky to reveal a small 10x10' room that is obviously a living quarters for one of the inn's employees. In that light, it seems unusually well decorated. Although a bed, chair and desk are the only items of furniture in the room, they are all of fine construction.
The desk has some writing matls, coarse paper, pencils, ink and quill. A few small items like buttons, small sewing kit for repairs, a spare pair of spectacles and other miscellaneous odds and ends. He recignizes it from his revious visit and even notes a pair of spare spectacles on the desk. This room seems most likely to belong to the old man who works the front desk. The door to the employee lounge is currently closed.

He will quietly go to the door and listen.
If he doesn't hear anything, or thinks he hears Haldrake.
"Big man, how goes the hunt?"
If it is quiet, or if it sounds like someone else is there, he try to listen or quietly crack the door for a peak.

Pyros calls into the room for Haldrake and takes a peek, but it seems no one is about at the moment...
Kybalion moves up with the others, and Airand follows suit, closing the secret door behind the group

Pyros and Kybalion check for any signs of traps or foul play but find none. The door opens silently to reveal a large space beyond. Light spills into the room from the Kender's invisible source. Not a single window opens up into this large secret room. The entire floor is covered in wolf furs. A small bar sits along the south wall of the room with a number of stools gathered around it. The center of the chamber is occupied by two long tables set some 10 feet apart. Thirteen comfortable looking chairs stand arranged around the two tables in such a way as to give the impression of a conference room. A large desk, crafted of fine dark wood, is positioned across the head of the long tables. Midnight black and blood red candles rest upon the tables, One of the 13 candles sits near each of the 13 seats.
Along the north wall of this room are three barred cells. Leather manacles are rivetted to the inner bars here and there. The central cell contains a motionless body strapped to the bars. The figure has huge claw-like gashes across his entire body and looks as if he had been slain by some horrible beast! A closer look reveals that the body has been partially eaten, and the stench of corruption is thick around the corpse.

Aaaaand here comes the Kender problem of curiosity killed the cat lol.
=============================================================
The Kender will creep into the room watching all around.
"Haldrake? You in here?" He will slowly start in the South, and circle around to the North.

Pyros calls out into the new space, but there is no answer, so he begins a circuit of the room. The desk by the entrance is of mahogany, and finely made. The drawer pulls are of ornate bronze, worked into stylized vines. Some blank paper, quill, inkwells and other writing acutrement sit atop the dest; ready to be used. The bar in the SE corner has several stools positioned around the counter, with many dusty bottles of vintage meekulbrau wine.
A comfortable looking overstuffed leather couch hugs the south wall, and the wolf furs line the floor everywhere; making footfalls almost silent and probably insulating the room against sound as well. A stone fireplace dominates the West wall, and upon the mantle rest a set of pan pipes. To the North the iron cages are set into the wall, bolted securely to the framing here. Leather straps hold the decaying corpse and the odiferous stench of flesh that has begun to spoil. The corpse bears wide claw marks, and several portions of his flesh appear to have been eaten prior to his decay...

With just enough caution to almost seem like fear he will try to recognize the face.

The face is far too mangled to discern who it could have been in life... but there seems something oddlh familiar about the rest of the body...
