Moving back down to the first level the group passes through the lower hall and finds the old man at the front desk. He speaks in that odd musical language, which Merrick translates to Elven for those who don't understand. Ah, you're back. Find what you are looking for? He inquires

"No, uh not at all, and we seem to have lost Haldrake." Pyros stutters from his invisible position.

Merrick translates and the old man seems confused. Is he not still up there? He has not come this way.

"No, we lost him for now. Very weird. There must be some secret doors up there, or something." Pyros watches the mans face while it is translated.
