I saw no tracks but there are still "Nasties" in here. These dead rats jumped me when I came in but got lucky and managed to defeat them. I can scout ahead if needed. I fear if we try to sleep to long the goblin King may come back in force. Let's get this done and get back to Night Stone. Something strange is going on there.

"If everyone agrees, let's head back to Night Stone".

Will spend time with his leather wrapped Silvered Short sword. Not sure if anything else I have is magical or not.

I don't recall finding any magical items.

The Short Rest is not interupted.

What next?

"Not to worry folks! All is good. This is a rare form of Mage Armour! Thank goodness." Vic will sound incredibly relieved when he understands what the spell he read is.

Vic, Luka and Unbar hear a faint 'tap, tap'. It sounds lightly metallic. After three heartbeats the noise repeats. The noise seems to be coming from the other side of the boulder that blocks the way back into the cavern.

What next?

Although he hasn't heard the tappng noise yet, Val is capable of moving the boulder effortlessly. [i.e. No Athletics skill check required]

Val will move the bolder.

With the boulder moved Val can hear the 'tink, tink' noise; it's coming from the south. Following the noise a few yards down the passageway he sees Isaril gently tapping a dagger on the stone wall. The druid asks, "Huh. So where do we look next?"

Readies his bow and moves up front.

I will scout a short way ahead. The villagers have to be here close by. There is no way they just disappeared. Weeeeelllllllll. Unless they ate them. Then they may have disappeared.
