Hi, Spyguy. Welcome to Planet.
What sort of game(s) are you looking for? Any particular game, edition or playstyle?

There are currently five active games here at Planet. I run two of them.
War of the Lance takes place in the published setting of Dragonlance and focuses on a massive war sweeping the continent and the lives of a handful of people in a city flooded with refugees. The party consists of a number of people from all walks of life, just trying to survive the madness around them. In this setting, healing magic has not existed for over 350 years, and so life is gritty, dangerous and harsh. There is mass prejudice against pretty much everyone (knights, wizards, elves, dwarves, humans, etc.). The party is around level 2. It's an open sandbox, meaning you can do whatever you want--there are no mandatory quests. There are currently 5 players in the game. (Recruitment thread
here.)
Lost Souls: Octhania takes place in a generic homebrewed setting of my own creation and is focused on a series of tropical islands. It, too, is a sandbox game where there is no mandatory plot. Currently, the party (around level 4) is hunting down some pirates that are trying to assassinate one of the PCs. The setting is kind of an Age of Exploration period, with pistols, cutlasses, sabres, and all that jazz. There are currently 4 players in the game. (Recruitment thread
here.)
Both games lack level limits and race restrictions on classes. If you require additional information, just ask.

There are three more games on the site that are running right now.
Waterdeep City of Splendors, run by miltils.. The game has some pretty dark themes, and its a lot of fun.
Borderlands, run by Stik. The game is in a non canon greyhawk world.
The Saltmarsh, run by Brelia. Based on the classic module.
I'll let the DMS say more.
And welcome, I'm the Admin round here but I let Jaded do most if the work because I don't have much time.

Am I being invited to these?

I'll let the DMS decide that one, I would suggest at least Saltmarsh has an opening Breila will see the post and reply I'm sure.
Waterdeep may have too, reply to the game recruitment thread here.
[/http://www.padnd.com/forums/viewtopic ... f=7&t=2063) as you can see its the longest standing game, and as such seen many line up changes, in fact Angel (my character) may be the only original PC!
I can't invite, but by all means reply to the request forums and let the guys and girls get back to you.

Borderlands II is in a good place right now to take on a new character, if you're interested.
No pressure to pick a particular class, but the party is about to be down a cleric (one of our long-time players dropped out last month. His cleric PC is hanging on as an NPC, but not for long).

The party are Mercenaries protecting a Necromancer, my character would be a paladin if it wasn't 2e and she wasn't a half elf.. Like Stik says there is no pressure on a class.

Just read the code carefully, a Paladin can fall from Grace.
