Ever thought of a cool or funny character idea that you wanted to share with others?
Here's a place for 'em.

I'll start the shenanigans off with this:

I don't know why I never thought if this before but...
Warforged. Warlock.
*Que megaman theme music*

I know nothing about warlocks. Do they have the ability to steal enemy attacks? Otherwise, I'm not sure I get it.

Let's see...I once made a dwarven Indiana Jones. He was an archaeologist who explored ancient ruins and carried a whip and pistol. He hated snakes and tended to make stuff up as he went.

Nice.

Way back a buddy of mine was obsessed with the idea of a DonQuixote-esque character.
Guess who agreed to play the overweight, middle-aged halfling Sancho... :D

It only got as far as drawing up characters, but my nwps were all like cooking, swimming, fishing, etc

The warlocks main thing is their eldritch blast.
It's an at will ranged touch attack that you can alter the effect and area shape as you level up.
The main n connection is: robot guy, pew pew all day.

Also, I've played a gnome barbarian in a 3.5 game a while back. It was pretty fun, and actually surprisingly effective.
One of the other players asked me why a made a gnome barbarian, I told him I did it for the con bonus and the lolz.

I hear gully dwarf barbarians are pretty popular in Dragonlance for the same reason.

What is a gully dwarf?

A race from Dragonlance of dwarves that live in filth, cannot count past 2, and basically eat garbage. However, they also tend to be innocents at heart. The other races all hate them, seeing them as vermin (especially 'real dwarves'). They tend to be very cowardly, but are fierce fighters when backed into a corner.

They get a +2 to CON and DEX in 3E, though. In the rare instance someone plays them, they usually make them thieves/rogues, but I recently learned barbarian is pretty popular, as well, because of the CON boost.

The usual definition is the dumbest filthiest and most wretched creature imaginable... Or simply the lowest caste of dwarves from Dragonlance.

Or what Jaded said.

Cruel descriptions, but concise and accurate

It is cruel, but as you said accurate. That is how they were written. But then, Dragonlance was created in the 1980s, so...it's full of problematic stuff like that. Stuff that would not fly today, to say the least.

I like my improvisationalit idea. Really a kit, but he gets a bonus to unorthodox things. Yeah, that's right. He is also a theif/illusionist hybrid.

A body-conscious succubus cursed with anorexia by day and bulimia by night.

A giant space hamster, sentient and all alone in a Spelljammer ship.

A barbellian.
