Re-recruiting to fill out and hopefully soon finish the current Module running.

Looking for 3 or 4 more players (we had some attrition lately) but are roughly half-way through the module.

Ravenloft is a Gothic Fantasy style campaign setting. It is not a true plane of it's own, more of a splintered assemblage of Domains tenuously held together by mystical powers. The common theme is fear, dread and even madness! Think of old black and white horror movies and you won't be far off.

Newly recruited Characters will start with 20k xp to be on-par with current players.

Characters can be 'from' almost any world/land on the Prime Material Plane. Krynn, Greyhawk, etc.

Playable Races (no stat/class level restrictions)
Basic races from PHB, Kender, special elf/dwarf types from krynn, etc
Others may be available upon request.
WARNING: Ravenloft is 90%+ human. many demihumans may face persecution, especially those obviously not human.
The game will be made to accommodate anything I approve, but there will still be challenges.

Post interest here and I can provide people access to the game threads as they come in.

Howdy! Saw your ad over on Dragonsfoot & I've been hankering to get back to my D&D roots for a while now. Know it might be gauche to just show up & toss my hat in the ring, but figured I'd shoot my shot anyway. I haven't played 2e since I was a teenager, but it's something I think that's stuck with me over the years; no other edition except B/X has ever seemed to really scratch my itch when it comes to ye olde D&D.

If you're willing to take a risk on a totally new person, I'd love to take a genuine stab at an adventure through classic Ravenloft.

Great to see the enthusiasm! I started with 2e way back in my teen years as well and it is still my fav edition. I'll go ahead and add you to the usergroup so you have access to the forum and character creation threads. Do you have any thoughts for a character concept yet?

As far as ideas, not at all, but I'll trawl through the thread and see what we've got so far. We'll see what the Dice Gods give me, but it shouldn't take me terribly long to whip something up

Currently there is a Human Bard, npc halfling cleric, human knight and a couple of others. So pretty much anything is good

Copy that, chief. Trying to figure out this Unseen Servant thing, so apologies in advance if I botch it. Looks like it's tied to the campaign correctly, so I'll have Ability Scores up shortly and work from there

Haha, well I won't say any (no beholder or illithid pcs )
but if you are thinking something like a drow or Svirfneblin I think we can make something work. Keep in mind, they unusual may attract a lot of unwanted attention
What did you have in mind?

A different type of drow, a female thief instead of a priestess, not a Llolth worshipper, neither evil or good.
