"For better or naught, I will get the mark as well."
"I will join the flock as well."

Jack and Jag descend to touch the sigil, receiving the mark in the same manner (complete with discomforting pain that soon subsides). Axid and Allikhain join as well, and Landro last as he watches over the party. Soon the 6 each have the mark upon their right forearm.

Axid wrote:Axid chimes in: "Even though there is a tingle when you get the tattoo, it would possibly be wise for us all to get the mark. How much worse can things get? Other than the overt desire of a certain party member to make us his mindless minions."
Ke'Sha looks around in concern...
'Who wants to make us his mindless minions? It must be the female...' he thinks to himself and grins sheepishly to Allakhain. Then he also goes to get the sigil.

As soon as Jack gets the symbol, he will mockingly start acting out pretending to go after Jag.
Realizing his joke falls flat, he will recede into his hood, and wait to see where the party is headed.

Allikhain muses telepathically as she examines the mark on her arm. Since we have found only dead-ends thus far, perhaps we should revisit some areas now that we have these. Suiting her own words she returns to the area above the statue and peers into the room across the narrow bridge. This part appears unchanged.

"As good of an idea I have heard all day."
"Yes, erm that seems logical."
They will both start working their way back up. Keeping their eyes peeled.

Jack and Jag make their way back up as well, and look around. [Jack has about 1 hr left on his fly spell]
Landro accompanies them and looks over the much larger room with the ladder (A2). When he peers down the long hallway he stops. Well that's new... He sends mentally to the others. It seems a door has appeared at the end of our dead-end hallway...

Upon “hearing” the mental comms, Axid moves towards the now “discovered” area. “Check for traps or dispel illusion maybe??”

Jack will check around the newly discovered door.

Allikhain joins the others as Jack and Jag move to the hall near the troll bunk room. Jack inspects the door, finding it to be made of metal with the design of a scowling face in the center. Within the mouth is an obvious keyhole, and it appears to be locked. The door itself certainly seems to be solid, real, and no illusion.
Binky dear, tell us if it's magical please. A two-dimensional shadow appears on the wall beside Allikhain. It peers at her, confused, then at the end of the hallway. What, the wall? Nah, it's not magic.
No, Binky dear. The door at the end of the hall. The one young Jack is inspecting. The shadow squints in the direction of the hall, then looks back at his master. What door? There is no F<k!ng door. Jackie-boy there is staring at a blank wall. The deep baritone voice lowers in volume, I think he's off his rocker. You want I should do the merciful thing? He asks, drawing a finger across his throat like a knife.
You really don't see the door do you...? With an exhasperated sigh the Quasit mockingly replies, No. I Reeeeally don't see things that aren't f<k!ng there.
Curiouser and curiouser... The Necromancer muses.
Jack inspects the door but finds no traps, though it is certainly locked.

Ke'Sha, still in the room with the huge statue mentally casts to the others,
"Nothing has changed here." Then to Gur,
"So obviously, familiars need to get the tattoo as well to see the changes. I suggest you do that." then back to all,
"Want to test what Binky will see if Jack will go through the door? And also if the door is open, will Binky be able to pass through it?"

Gur snorts and flies over to the sigil. Glaring between the symbol and his master he sneers, Just because you meat-bags get your jollies off this kind of crap doesn't mean I do. the Quasit grumbles. Reaching out his clawed hand, the green glow from the sigil passes onto his arm. What the FUUUUUUAAAAAAGH!!! A horrendous screech issues from the imp as he thrashes and flops around on the stone arm. Abruptly he falls limp on the statue, eyes closed and chest moving with ragged breath. One eye opens, looking about to see if anyone is paying attention. Finally he gets up, scratching his belly and lifting one leg to expel a noxious cloud from his hind quarters. Ahhh... he sighs, Much better. Gur wings his way back up to his master. That kinda tickles... Ok, O.K. I know, I'm goin'... Gur floats off to join the rest and looks down the hall.
Yep. Big door. Big whoop.
What door?? You've all caught it now, I'm the only sane one left! Binky says, shaking his head.
That door. Right There! Gur points a tiny clawed hand as the pair float closer to the end of the hall.
Yeah. Wall. Dead-end. WAAA-LLL. Binky says, gesturing to the end of the hall, Just like Thiiis one... the shadow-figure rubs the side-wall of the hallway.
Nuh-uh! DOOR-HOR Gur over-emphasizes the word in the same way. Watch. Gur floats over and begins urinating on the door right beside where Jack is crouched, examining the lock. An acrid smell soon fills the hallway as warm droplets splatter next to the human thief.
Binky crosses his arms and shrugs. Just looks like you're peein' on the wall to me.
Gur throws his arms up exhasperatedly, the stream petering out as it slings uncontrollably. I give up. I can't work like this. He complains.

"Well it would seem every being needs the mark to 'see'. I think Binky needs to attempt to get the mark as well or this may wind up being all for naught." Axid approaches the *door* and inspects the "lock" pulling from his knowledge as a locksmith. He will pull out his lock picks and attempt to probe the lock to determine the tumbler pattern and possible blade configuration that will open it. "Pinky before attempting to get the mark will you watch me as I probe this lock. Tell me if the picks are disappearing in to the rock or not. I'd like to discern the depth of the illusion."

"Let's let Binky wait until we clear the door for traps and open it. We need to understand if the sigil only helps us 'see' hidden things, or actually interact with them, like shifting to a parallel dimension. And another concern is that if the 'new dimension' opens more options to us, then we may need to go the dungeon over and over again about thirty times, or how many sigils are there on the paper we got from the chick in the camp... No one made Origami out of it I hope..."

That's trippy, yeah it looks like your tools are going into the wall...
There were 20 sigils. You should have a paper as well if you took one. They made copies for us all but it is also upon the sash on the scepter, which we have.

the image of the 20 sigils is also in the first post for this thread
