I've been teaching myself yet another program for fantasy mapping. Have a look at this small city map I made and leave comments. I think it's a pretty cool editor.

Nice Cole, very nice, think I have CC2. somewhere..Cole wrote:yeah I found a few more things to make it look even better now
I have done up the full page for Shaleton on the Ankhur website for those interested in a print off for the own worlds in an emergency city need

This will be the template style for all of Ankhur's cities.
Now that i've played in CC3 for an extra day, man it's very powerful. Overland maps are much easier then city maps TSDyou just require allot of patience..

You can export anything in any style you like in CC3 as well Kafenyou just have to find the right place to do it
If you hit File / Save As and move the tab open, you can export the entire map in over 20 formats.... even a player's map to hide ALL secret areas ... very nifty
Yeah I grabbed Dundjinni as well, look nice too... just didn't seem to have the extra options I required to map cities out. But nice to steal textures from. I'll have to check Terragen too KafKafen wrote:I use Dundjinni, Terragen, and Inkscape to do my maps. Vector graphics are my main focus, though. If I ever go back to stamp style map making suites, I will pick CC# back up.
I know CC2 had a plugin for Terragen 1. It might still apply for CC3.
