Lucky guy! I've only been there once; when I was sixteen and with my parents :( . I'd like to go around October 'cause they have this killer haunted attraction down there that, in addition to featuring several haunted attractions in one place, also has roller coasters, assorted other rides and two indoor zip lines!
If you read this in time here's a tip that my Vegas veteran relatives passed on to me. If you can handle walking in the mid-eighties weather down there this time of year and are going to someplace within 5 or 6 blocks of your hotel, don't piss your money away on taxi's and walk.
Hope you have a good and safe time and Happy Birthday Cole

If you should happen to play the slot machines, here's a tip: Play the ones closer to the entrance. Supposedly the machines near the door pay off more often - not as big, but more often. This is done intentionally, so that people walking by will hear players winning at the slots, thus encouraging them to play as well.

And if you ever get down to New York City, let me know. I'll come into the city and meet you for dinner.

Hey guys! back ...and broke! Learned a ton on this vacation :)

Like how to move through vegas, quickly, with little walking and no taxies. :) Trams are your friend and day pass bus rides where cheap. :)

Tried all the casino's, various machines over allot of $$$ and none of them paid out well :( All a fuckin rip off if you ask me. At least in Canada they give you something to play on, then take yer money..

Other then that though... WoW! Great fun... stayed up till 3-4 am every night, looked all the freaks, seen a TON of pretty ladies, lots of good food and drink. Yup, all good. Just $5k poorer now...LOL

Glad to be home though. My kids missed dad big time  ... was so happy to hold them again :)
