I'm a haunted attractions enthusiast and since it's that time of the year for them, I'll tell this story. Back in 2010 when I started going to haunted attractions regularly, there was one advertised real close to my apartment. It was being sponsored by the local Shriners for some charitable cause. We decided to go, knowing that the lower price than most haunted attractions was probably going to also mean lower quality. Now I've done about twenty haunted attractions and only seen two D&D creatures in all of them (not counting the obvious crossover witches, zombies, mummies and vampires). One was a mechanical dragon at another place, but sure as shit this grassroots, amateurish haunted attraction put on by the Shriners had a frickin' Minotaur, which was cool :!: :D
