Thank you.
I have another piece to post, as soon as I can see some daylight (I've been way too busy at work lately).

As I've mentioned here before, the rank of sergeant in the Kingdom of Acre is sort of a half-step to becoming a knight. It's an indication that you are being taken seriously as a fighter and that knighthood may be in your future.

Conrad Jarnhand was made sergeant at Damien and Tara's coronation.

This was done in the "insular majuscule" hand which was developed in the monasteries of Ireland in the 7th century, then spread to England and the continent after that. The knotwork, colored infill of letters, and dots around important words are all characteristic of the illumination of the period. Conrad being a good norseman, I thought this type of calligraphy and illumination were fitting.

Yes, these are outstanding! I love seeing someone do something original. I dare say... these are the most original workings I've seen on any D&D website. It's not very often I'm jealous of something (I'm just not like that)... but these make any D&D world better and any home to I would imagine :)

I couldn't charge enough for my calligraphy to make it worth my while, so I do the pieces for free.

Not an award scroll, this time, but a gift for friends of mine whose handfasting was last Sunday.
She likes to cook, and has two pugs at home. He brews mead (honey wine). These things made it into the scroll.

More art.
This is not one that I did, but one that was given to me, done by my friend Melanie:

These two are mine:
The Augmentation of Arms is one of the highest awards given in the Kingdom of Acre. This year I was asked to prepare two Augmentation scrolls.

The first was for a lady by the name of Ismina.

The second was for the same lady who prepared my Nameless Order scroll (see above). I wanted to do something new, so I did the scroll in the style of the one she had done for me.

I was only able to view pieces #1-5 of the first set to today. I notice that the lower case s's in pieces #2&3 kind of look like lower case f's. Like the design patterns on the borders.

That's the infamous "Long S".
It makes reading the scrolls a pain in the neck, even for me.
