Labyrinth OOC

A classic 2e Puzzle dungeon for High Level characters
Beware, this one is substantially longer and (IMHO) even harder than the legendary Tomb of Horrors!

Ah, yeah not really a thing in 2e if you leave an area and re-enter.

Im also go out on a limb and think it will be a save every time he walks inside of it.

You'd think rolling over 8 wouldnt be that hard...

I don't think Jack has failed his save yet, though. Some guy named Jave has clearly been paralyzed, but Jack should still get to make his saving throw. :P

Jack passed the first time, and it seems like it took longer to teleport, when he failed he seemed to teleport sooner. Based on how I read it.

(OOC: Let me see if I get it right. Allakhain (which have MR btw, which I forgot about it) saved from the paralysis and did not teleport even that she was walking all over the place, while Jack saved on the first time and didn't teleport, then froze in paralysis by just putting a finger in, and did teleport. So the teleport is not attached to a certain location, but it is conditioned on the failure of the save against the paralysis?
Anyway, if that's the case, if Allakhian mentioned her ability to detect magic, Ke'Sha will politely ask if she used it on the trapped corridor, and if she didn't mention it he will wait to see if Jack recovers from the paralysis and according to that decide if to risk entering the area together with Gur, sharing the magic detection trying to find anything hidden.

I think Steve is the wimpiest character in the party (Strength 8 ). Ke'Sha is only weaker when Jack swipes his bracers... Even miss Allikain has Strength 14.

Lol. Well the big 10x10x10 ft stone requires combined strength 50 to move, so it's going to be probably need at least 3 people. Most likely some combination of zombie trolls, Landro or orthers feeling helpful.
Like [Landro, 1 troll, 1 person str 13+] or [3 trolls] [Landro and 2 trolls] etc

It's not written into the module, but I'll say there are handholds on this side since it is really only meant to be hidden from the opposite direction.

The Berm Landro will slide put of the way by himself, now that it is cut free

Sorry! Back at work, so I will likely have some time.

Funny how on holidays when I am not strapped into a PC I have less time to post.

Jack and Landro with the hot escort are doing the re-scouting. It worked well last time I think, went pretty quickly and they just noted everything new, not pushing into anything new.

I went back looking for the old maps, and they all seem to be broken links.

Can you repost anything else that we can normally easy get to?

If I'm remembering right as I type this, we rode the bubble down, or teleported down, so we might have to take the new stairs.

yeah, the in-game links seem to have broken at one point. I went back in the 'Mad Like a Fox' thread and fixed some of the maps there for reference
https://padnd.com/gaming_forum/viewtopi ... 13#p124413

The tricky part is they don't know of a mundane way back up from the current level with the statue (C) to the level above with the hands (A), unless the new stairwell leads there

Area A5 has the transport leading down to C1 (the statue room)

So with you guys talking like you are trying to get my cat's attention, does that mean they can restore the lost levels without spells?
