Re: Return [To Madness]: Act 1, Scene 2
Since Axid isn’t on the “mental party line” someone will need to let him know to make a portal.
You are talkin' to the holy symbol wearing,
Ruby ring wearing, kiss stealing; Woo!
Praying/healing, beholder riding, griffin flying
Son of a blowgun, and I'm having a hard time holding these Aboleth shoes down! WOO!

[OoC]Tristan, how far away from the camp are Jack and Landro? Can it be reached by a dimensional door? Or do we need a Wormhole?
And is Tall, Bright, and Flamey going to try to follow them through?

[ooc]It is much more than the 200 yard max of Dimensional door. Probably around 1/2 mile
Tall, bright and flamey will follow them if able until commanded otherwise
But the elemental doesn't know where camp is if cut off by a rapidly closing portal

[Texting from my phone - please forgive the formatting]
Stephen focuses his Will and opens a wormhole with one end near Jack and the other just inside the entrance to the Labyrinth.
<Ke'sha, do you want to give your elemental any further commands? Please meet it at the entrance to The Labyrinth.>

36 psps.
That adds 90 minutes to his recovery time, so he'll be full up at 09:15 on the morning of the 6th.

Re: Return [To Madness]: Act 1, Scene 2
The wormhole opens near the scouts, and Jack (presumably) goes through closely followed by Landro.
[Bish can decide if Ke'Sha has more brief instructions for the elemental]
Once back in camp, Allikhain tends to Landro's drained life-force.
=====
Alikhain casts Limited Wish to Restore 1 drained level Landro
Landro is Restored 1 drained level and reaches minimum xp for Level 11!
Allikhain ages 3 years, Landro ages 2 years
If everyone is pretty much resting up for the rest of the night, I'll go ahead and close this thread here and assign xp. It will probably just be a lump sum this time instead of individual but will have some rationale listed out.

Ke'Sha using the portal to dismiss the Elemental, and goes back to sleep.

Re: Return [To Madness]: Act 1, Scene 2
(OoC) After the limited wish it might be best for these now older and maybe no wiser folks to rest a touch more as well as regaining needed spells and kitty noises (PSPs)

Re: Return [To Madness]: Act 1, Scene 2
I’ll try to get a new Scene up (“Descending Deeper [into Madness] Act 1 Scene 3” ) sometime tonight or tomorrow.
So far the party is making good progress, at least they keep finding things to keep, critters to kill and sigils to obtain. The game is moving a little slower than I anticipated, but not enough for it to be a big deal, and the delays are partly my own fault.
As I said before, this time I'm just going to do a block of xp that everyone gets. Usually I do individual xp (as some of you in my other games know). I realize the character Stephen joined later than the others, but he would be getting some xp for item creation so we'll just call it even. That means his total will be starting xp + the block which incorporates his item creation xp. It's less precise, but it ties everything up neatly and won't delay the game like me reviewing 1500+ pages to determine what all the differences should be.
I added xp for clearing all of Level A. This means all areas have been discovered (but perhaps not all secrets). Let me know if anyone would rather this remain a mystery for the levels going forward, but I feel like it can help focus exploration efforts. If we keep it a mystery, I will still find a way to award the xp, will just be spread out differently.
Let me know if you like this block xp style or would rather have the more individualized version I typically do.
Without further ado…
Numbers!
Group Rewards:
Adventure XP:
Party Acquired 1nd Sigil: 1,000 xp
Party Acquired 2nd Sigil: 1,000 xp
Party Acquired 3rd Sigil: 1,000 xp
Cleared Level A: 5,000 xp
[Xp gained once acquired, many will be found before they can be used/gained]
Combat XP:
8 trolls(1.4k ea), 8 Black puddings (2k ea), 6 Vytholus Images (8k ea), Tarrana (8k), Erthine (7k), 3 Thornslingers (270 ea), Gelatinous Cube (650) = 11.2k + 16k + 48k + 8k + 7k + 810 + 650
=> 91,660 xp
91,660/6 characters = 15,267 xp each
Miscellaneous XP (Role playing, ideas, problem solving, cooperation, humor, etc)
10,000 xp each
Total Xp: (Each)
33,267 xp
