Success.

So this is an issue with the eSim, but connecting via wi-fi works, so no problem.

Jack responds. "Well we will have a bigger feast from your roast anyway. Was this the hatch you needed to shrink to get through?"

Landro nods, Yes, this was the smaller hatch. Fortunately I have a few minutes left on my Dimunition so it shouldn't be an issue this time.

He is still man-sized from when he changed earlier today

"Then no time to waste." Jack starts to climb.

Jack ascends, the elemental watching and moves as of to follow. Landro begins to walk another direction and the Elemental looks between them, deciding to follow the Firbolg. Jack ascends safely. Landro leads the elemental down the hall to the troll room. As soon as it is inside he runs back to the ladder and begins climbing as quickly as possible. The creature of pure fire is swift and catches up before he is even halfway, but keeps pace 15 feet behind. By the time Landro reaches the top, he is sweating profusely, but not harmed.
Jack reexamines the snake-head room, finding things seemingly ths same... until he reinspects the massive stone head itself. Within the open mouth now lies a stairway descending into darkness where before there was only a dead end...

Jack reports that via mental link.
"Preference on which hatch next?"

Landro shrugs. Any are fine with me, but my diminution will not last much longer. The shortest one appeared but a single tunnel downward, so we should be able to check it quickly without entering (hatch b). The one with the massive iron door was also a fairly short trip. (hatch c) But the last was quite a long way, leading from a first circular room, down a long staircase and to another dead end with the pit trap and the false door. Perhaps we should save that one for last, so that if my shrinking ability ends, we can simply use a portal out if I cannot manage to squeeze back through the hatch. He suggests

"Right-o, Ill be off on the deadend one. I will holler if I am going further than the ladder." Jack heads to B, looks down and remembers if there were trapped rungs.

Jack stands over the hatch, using the continual light stone to illuminate the area. The hatch seems the same as far doen as he can see with the magical light (60 feet) but the light currently does not reach the bottom (at last look it was about 100 feet deep, so beyond the range of the light.)

Did he fly down this one before? I can't remember if he found traps, but he probably does.

[He may have flown last time. A magical trap was found on a rung about 20 feet down. The pit is 100 feet deep the first time (I mistakenly put 80 earlier)]

Jack continues to descend, making sure to avoid the step he knows is trapped.
Once down far enough he will hold the light out to see if anything has changed at the bottom.

Jack climbs down to a little short of where he recalls the trap being (roughly 20 feet). Spending a few minutes searching he fimds the tiny magical rune on the back side of one of the rungs. Avoiding it, he continues to climb down another 20 feet until his light illuminates the bottom of the pit. As before, it seems to be naught but a dead-end

"Coming back up." Avoiding the rung again.
He thinks which one is the next shortest from memory.
After he misses the trapped one, on the way backup.
"Let's go back to the one with the trick stairs."

[Next shortest is the one with the giant door that flips. Hatch C]
