Return [To Madness]: Act 1, Scene 2

A classic 2e Puzzle dungeon for High Level characters
Beware, this one is substantially longer and (IMHO) even harder than the legendary Tomb of Horrors!

Hes gonna do the trick stairs first anyway, they turn into a slide right?
The floor was covered in bones at the bottom of the spiral stairs?

Carefully watching for any trapped stairs they may have found before.

Jack slips down into the circular room full of bones and begins descending the long winding stairs, careful of the absent railing. At the bottom he crosses the bone-littered floor to the stairway and the empty room.

[If I recall correctly, they had braced the pit open for a while last time with an iron rod but it has since closed

After returning to camp. Stephan corrals Jagrinder, Allikhain, and Ke'Sha.

I know we need to cast some restoration spells on several party members. What time do you each anticipate being ready to re-enter the Labyrinth tomorrow morning?

"After rest, I will need just over a hour to restore my Arcane spells from study. Then depending how we spread the restoration spells some prayer time will be needed after that."(70 mins for 2xlvl1, 1x lvl2, 1xlvl3)

Axid slips into the conversation, “It may take longer than a night to fully recover from our exertion in the Labyrinth. We both have used quite a bit of the Way down there and for the wizards, it may take longer to prep. I’m not well versed in their ways though.”
You are talkin' to the holy symbol wearing,
Ruby ring wearing, kiss stealing; Woo!
Praying/healing, beholder riding, griffin flying
Son of a blowgun, and I'm having a hard time holding these Aboleth shoes down! WOO!

"For me it will take almost a full day of prayers and meditation after the night rest, to get the full extent of the Lord blessings. But time is of essence. If need arise I can be ready to set back to the Labyrinth at the morning."
======================================================================================
(OOC: Ke'Sha needs 18.5 hours after the night rest. So even if he goes to sleep immediately, he will be fully restored only at 9pm, which means skip a day. Discussing with TristenC I've prioritized the spells and therefore he can be ready at any time you decide starting at 8am. The later the better...)

[ooc] Noct if you just want to give me a list of the other places Jack wants to search and how, we can probably handwave the rest of his part[/ooc]

I should have no trouble being ready by morning. And once Jack and Landro return I can partially restore one of them. Allikhain adds.

======
It is roughly 7pm for those at camp. If Jag, Allikhain and Ke'Sha go to bed right away they can get their 8 hours and awake around 3am and have 5 hours of memorization (30 spell levels of slots) by 8 am.

For the Psionicists they can pretty much sleep whenever they want. Sleeping regens 12 psp/ hour, and they both have the Rejuvination non-weapon proficiency which regenerates them at the same rate. So by 8am they will each have regained 156 psps if they focus on nothing else.

The party doesn't Have to start at 8 am, just let me know how long they want to wait. just remember
-active spell durations
-checks/events in the overworld
-time the baddies in the Labyrinth have to plan/ prepare for them

Stephen's variety of Philosopher stone lets him regain PSPs at twice the normal rate. He can regain 24 PSPs per hour meditating or sleeping.

He'll be at full PSPs by 07:45 on the morning of the 6th.

Jack will systematically make his way down each hatch. Avoiding any remembered traps. Only going as far as the group had already gone, and will physically and mentally mark each new item/room feeding it back to the group as well.

As Landro and Jack continue, they find the hatches unchanged. As they return to the snake-head room from the last hatch, Landro pauses and speaks very quietly so only Jack can hear. Something is watching us... like before, with magic perhaps.

"Maybe it is the clean up crew wondering if we have left yet."
======================================
Is it around the same time as before?
======================================
Jack will chuckle to himself.
Then back to Stephen
"The big guy got the feeling of being watched like before."

"Sometimes I feel like somebody is watching me, as well." Ke'Sha says, then looks at Mourkul who stares back at him ominously...

[OoC]Gah! I meant to hit 'quote' but accidentally hit 'edit' when trying to copy this post to use as a base for my next one. Now I don't remember exactly what I had here. Something about Steve noticing and blocking a scrying attempt, but not being able to similarly protect others when he's not around.
