from your last image, if the door to the bridge is open, it looks like William would have 'line of sight' to magnus' flameing sphere. Is that correct?

It sort of feels like there wasn't much in response to my last post "haahqae wanders over to the others and says stuff" -> He hasn't moved on the map at all and the NPC's haven't responded to him or began tying up kendra/tulbas.

Which poses some questions:

1) How long does it take to tie someone up?
2) Does Haahqae have materials for such on him; or available nearby?
3) Can Tulbas be tied up while under the effects of the hold spell?

And also:
Can anyone see or hear the fight in the other room; now that the fight in this room has died down?

Not unless he can see through Burzan's massive unconscious form.

True, as I didn't think positioning was important now that he's out of combat. But if you want me to edit and reupload the map, I'll need more specific directions on what direction and how far he's walking.

How long does it take to tie someone up?

A round.

Does Haahqae have materials for such on him; or available nearby?

According to his stat block, he has 25' of silk rope on him.

Can Tulbas be tied up while under the effects of the hold spell?

Yes. Tulbas cannot move on his own, but he can be moved.

Can anyone see or hear the fight in the other room; now that the fight in this room has died down?

The fight at this point are just two people and neither of them are using metal weapons or armor, so aren't being terribly loud. I suppose if everyone was quiet and concentrated, they might hear some scuffling going on.

So Burzan passed out and lying down is too tall for William to see over? Damn, i underestimated him...

If the Magus room can hear & conclude that battle in the William room has stopped:

...Meanwhile, the sounds of battle in the next room have died out completely. ...

then presumably the William room could hear a shout for "help needed here" from the Magus room. That's no risk to Gobax as if he's the last one standing then he's doomed anyway.

As Willaim has wondered what happened to Magus:

and previously the other group had wondered the same and Nora arrived to investigate all in the same round then William and co could do the same?

Also, as there's a flaming sphere resting on Shima, I'd propose that max dam applies, similar to weapon damage on an unconscious foe out of combat(as the flame won't be distractable.)

not that such things would be useful to Haahqae now, he can't exactly go up on the streets and start buying and selling now that he's been seen working with the resistance

Just thought I'd nitpick this one a bit. Unless the dragonarmy has some extra senses that Haahqae hasn't seen; there are only 3 people who have seen Haahqae with the resistance; and none of them have had a chance to tell the dragonarmy what they've seen yet. So unless Magnus sent a quick sending spell or something before running off to fight the others.

Of course; there's a pretty large chance that Magnus will survive and escape and tell the dragonarmy. Which comes to my second point. Haahqae is an illusionist with no qualms about lying. He could use magic to disguise himself as anything else; and it would likely be enough to fool some of the shopkeepers into dealing with him.

Change Self won't alter his ID papers, though, which he needs to get through checkpoints.

Invisibility is pretty good for getting through checkpoints.

Ha, good point! But without a weapons permit, he can't sell weapons anyway, so I'm still not sure what value they have for him.

Can you elaborate where and how exactly Gobax searches?

Well now that he hears something above he'll try to be quick, but how was:
"he will look for tracks or signs of where they went, or any odd stonework and ask shima to do the same" from my last post.

And where would be near the place the fight happened for the others because there doesnt sewm to be an obvious way out

Keeping in mind time restraints, is that the exact order you want to prioritize things?

Probably not, i thought he'd have more time after combat or that people would see him on the bridge when he went after magnus
