"Indeed" Angel smiles.
"Perhaps I should explain that last comment?." She say with a blush.

"Bastian and I went out to the ocean where the body was found, I w nt in the water in just my undergarments, thus he saw my scars, and I got rather wet." She says as rises from the pool, folding her arms to cover her body, before reaching down to pick up a towel from the side of the bath.

"Would you like some food Salia? You get to be waited on, enjoy it." Smiling she reaches for a Towel, offering it to the young girl, wrapping her gently. She then offers the same to Liri, wrapping the towel and her arms tightly around the Elf, embracing her with a soft grin.

[Stik]

Spotting Angel's scars, Sallia asks quietly: "Were you a slave?"

[Jenara]

"Slave? No I was a legionnaire, a good one, however putting it simply I disagreed with a few orders, my superiors did not take kindly too it..." She fingers the wounds gently. "These were my punishment. Disobedience is not taken kindly in the Legions."

[Breila]

Liri smiles a thank you as Angel wraps her in the towel.

After Liri's answer to Salia's question, she nods. "Yes, the legion is a harsh master, and a legionnaire is subject to his superior's orders quite like a slave is to his master. I'm lucky to be part of a service that offers a little more freedom."

[Stik]

"My father was in the Legions. He went south to hold the border against the rebels," Sallia says. "Come on, let's go swimming." The girl turns and heads for the main hall.

Hiric, up to his neck in the warm water, looks over at Bastian, his eyes slitted. "Perhaps if these vaunted professional soldiers were capable of doing their job, we wouldn't have to worry about a child needing a dagger to protect herself," he hisses.

[Jenara]

Angel nods, pausing for a moment in indecision before grabbing Liri's hand and following the Girl to the pool.

"Aye, there's some truth to that." Bastian sits down, cross-legged, at the side of the pool. "Then again, there's not much to be done when out numbered four to one. Of course I presumed a mage would have a few more preparations ready for such an event." Bastian looks at Fraso out of the corner of his eye. "At this point, placing blame does little good. Come to think of it, Master Hiric, I believe that we need to have you better armed as well. You were good with your dagger, but I don't believe that we are out of the woods yet, so to say. I believe that would be the better option, in my opinion. Arm you with a stouter blade and you can allow Salia the use of your dagger in case of trouble?"

[Breila]

Liri follows the other two to the pool and dips into the water with visible delight. With her long dextrous limbs, she swims a few lenghts, then dives, circling her friends like a dolphin. She enjoys moving in the near weightlessness of the water. After a while, she gets out and wrings the water out of her long hair, laughing.

[Jenara]

(Ooc: Salia already has a blade from Angel)

Angel lets go or Liri's hand as the Elf pulls out of her grasp to enter the water, stretching her own legs she watches her swim for a few moments before turning a shade of Crimson.

Flustered, she steps back and jumps headfirst into the pool, her bare legs cutting through the water with much less grace, before pulling herself up onto the side.

"Can you swim Salia?" She asks, sitting down, her long wet legs dangling in the water, pausing she taps beside her. "Sit with me? Unless you wish to swim?"

[Stik]

"I'm no swordsman. I'll use a club if need be, but I don't plan to need it." Hiric says, quietly.
Fraso's face reddens at Bastian's remark about "a mage having made some preparations" I hired your associates to keep me and my people safe.. I am not one to slug it out with monsters. My expertise lies in other areas."

Despite being somewhat hampered by her chiton, Sallia manages to swim quite well.

"A club, eh? Well, I believe that we are in the right location to find a stout weapon of that sort. The borders always tend to be last when receiving shipments of weapons and iron anyway." Bastian is clearly ignoring Fraso at the moment. Besides, he wasn't hired by anyone. He was assigned. "I'll tell you what, Master Hiric," Basian clearly hopes to irk Fraso by constantly calling Hiric 'Master' while referring to Fraso only in round about terms, "with your boss's permission I'll treat you to a meal, as long as it is a Spartan one since my purse is a bit light at the moment, and we'll try to track down a half-decent weapon for you."

[Jenara]

Angel smiles watching the Girl swim as she splashes her feet in the water on the side of the pool, her hands remain in place covering her private areas.

"Why did I do this?" She asks herself, glancing over to Liri every time she thought the Elf wasn't looking.

[Breila]

Liri comes out of the water and gracefully accepts towels from one of the servants. Wrapping herself in one, she brings another over to Angel. Gently touching the woman's shoulder, she tells her: "I can see you're not too comfortable here. We're clean now, shall we go? As soon as Salia has finished her rounds?"

[Jenara]

"Thank you, yes. Showing ones body is not my idea of fun, I was caught in the moment. Now I just feel ashamed." She lowers her head onto Liri's arm, her body shakes slightly.

[Breila]

"Let's go, then" Liri tells Angel. "Salia, we're leaving. Stay a little while if you want to, we'll wait for you outside the bathhouse, OK?" she calls out to the other woman.
