Is there a way to hide a forum that I don't have a game in?
I'm going to poke around, but just wondering if anyone knows of a way.

Yeah don't worry about that. Just trying to make it easier on my phone.
I will probably just bookmark a few topics, then have my mobile bookmark go to the UCP on the manage bookmark tab.

Perhaps rather than hiding what you don't see, you could just add multiple Favorites or Bookmarks for the ones you do.
