Return [To Madness]: Act 1, Scene 2

A classic 2e Puzzle dungeon for High Level characters
Beware, this one is substantially longer and (IMHO) even harder than the legendary Tomb of Horrors!

Alrius passes the slime-bucket of goodies to Jack before climbing back up to join his master above the pit. The undead is absolutely slathered in clear gelatin that slowly oozes off of him to the floor, creating a wide slick spot near the pit's edge...

Submerged in goop inside the helm area few dozen coins, a violet gem, dagger, grappling hook. The helmet bucket is cappes with a buckler, and Alrius has the handle-less short sword tucked behind his belt.

======
Time is 4:40 PM, Waterday the 5th of Reaping [Day 3]

Pit-items (all non magical)
14cp, 11sp, 2gp, 7pp,
violet colored stone

Jack will let the goop slime its way out, like draining boiled eggs without a strainer.
He then flies up to the level.
"Who wants the goodies?"
==============================
"We should probably keep that away from other valuables, but the currency should probably left for items we need from camp during our incursion." Jag will reply.

Axid reaches into his haversack and pulls out his Decanter of Endless water. “Let me rinse the gunk off the booty.” Axid speaks the word for a stream of water to pour out of the decanter to help move the gunk off the treasure haul.

Axid produces a small bottle and speaks the secret command word. A constant flow of water begins, and the dwarf rinses and scrubs the newly acquired loot until it is free of slime. He then rinses the slick gunk back into the pit.

[The middle-pressure setting could probably be used to de-slime Jack and Alrius. Though Alrius at least would be soaking wet by the end.]

"Although Shiny is a nice outfit for Alrius, he can wash himself too if the water suffice." Ke'Sha, which does keep high heigene says. "OK, let's move to the other side of the pit and into the magical area."

[OoC] Right. It's probably the magic floor. Or maybe I should say it's possibly the magic floor...

Axid will gladly help clean gunk off the others. “If only I had a bar of soap to drop on the halfling….” A wry grin breaks in his otherwise stony expression.

Ke'Sha quickly fetches a soap bar from one of his girdle pockets and hands it to the dwarf. "Here... I have spares."

Axid turns the pressure on the vial up so a fountain of water 5 feet long sprays out. He takes a few minutes to hose off the zombie and rogue, washing anly slime back into the pit.

Yes, let's." Jag commands his hand to target the largest and ugliest of the undead. Mostly just to keep it tagging along till it expires.

"Wonder what is next" Jack will say as he floats along.

Do we want to just cross this pit? Or do we want to go to the corner on the far side of the 'magic floor'?
