Re: Return [To Madness]: Act 1, Scene 2
Jag and Jack agree with Allikhain.
"I suggest we get the 3rd mark, then we head to camp. I can return and do a quick retrace of the areas we explored."

"We are headed back to the green giant to try and obtain that sigil before exploring these stairs heading up?" Axid inquires.

Re: Return [To Madness]: Act 1, Scene 2
"Good use of this dimension lacking weapon." Ke'Sha says to Stephen appriciating. "Turning the con into a pro..."
Once all get the 2nd sigil Ke'Sha says: "Allakhain has a good point regarding the third sigil. Once we have it, I'd rather we check the blue wall with the weird painting before the stairs. It looks too important to ignore, but then again it might be a trap."
When Jack suggests to scout ahead Ke'Sha tells him, "Would you like a fire elemental help? Not only it is a formidable foe, should the situation require protection, but there are few among these creatures with exceptional powers that might help us in the long term."
================================================================================
(OOC: Ke'Sha is referring to the Efreet of course, that may grant a wish with it's certain danger of course, but I think granting Jack a permanent ability to fly or detect traps, or at least semi-permanet, would be more than reasonable and not so dangerous, unless he is turned into a bird of course or detect the traps but helplessly activating them.
but it can be phrased to have the exact same effect as permenancy/semi-permenancy to mitigate the danger.)

He meant while the others rested he would go back over what they have already covered, not ahead.

"It does get a bit chilly in here. Maybe once I come back for the retracing." He grins.

Re: Return [To Madness]: Act 1, Scene 2
Since there seems to be a consesnus on at least the first part... Allikhain says, swaying gracefully back towards the room with the massive green statue. Almost immediately she returns. The massive stone still blocks our path. The berm on this side prevents us from pushing it into the room with the deceased dragon. If we push it back towards the statue, it will be jammed against the wall and block the blue locked door and wall of mystical symbols. I can disintegrate the block, if you wish, or we can bypass it with portals as before. She finishes

"How easy would it to cut that berm with that fancy knife? Or the block for that matter?" Jag suggests.

Re: Return [To Madness]: Act 1, Scene 2
[The berm is only about 8 inches high and 8 inches deep, but 10 feet long. If a dimensional blade of at least 4" length were used, it would take only 2 cuts of approximately 10 feet long. Certainly doable with that ability.
The block was 10x10x10 feet. cutting the big block down might take 30 mins to an hour]

“If we are on our way out anyway, it might be better to have Mistress Allikhain remove the block permanently.”

“The dimensional blade is useful. I suggest it be used to remove the berm. That is most efficient way to go about it.” Axid gruffly adds in.

[Ooc] For sake of expediency, I'll say the blade in question is at least 4" [/ooc]

Re: Return [To Madness]: Act 1, Scene 2
Stephen pulls a long dagger, a blue gemstone, and a wire from a pouch in his belt, securing the stone to the dagger with the wire. Crouching by the berm he focuses on the dagger in his hand. The long blade flattens, and Stephen slides the blade along the corners of the berm, cutting it free from the stone floor.
“That ought to do it,” Stephen says, removing the gem from the dagger and slipping both back into his girdle as he steps back. “Does someone with a bit more muscle than I have want to pull this thing out of the way?”

Gemstone's Dimension Blade (17): [1d20]=6
Cost: 6 PSP to initiate, 5 PSPs for the two rounds it takes to cut through the berm. 37/48 PSPs.
Stephen uses the stone he empowered on the 4th of Reaping to flatten his normal dagger for the two rounds it takes to cut the berm apart.

Re: Return [To Madness]: Act 1, Scene 2
Stephen slices the berm free of the floor, to which Jag responds by puffing himself up but not tackling the heavy lofting. Landro smirks, bemused. Allow me. Without preamble he slides the stone berm against the West wall and out of the way of the block. Moving to the large stone obstacle he grips the handholds on the corners firmly. Ke'Sha, if you wouldn't mind lending some of your 'friends' I think we could get this out of the way in a few minutes. The Firbolg prompts
Re: Return [To Madness]: Act 1, Scene 2
Ke'Sha immediately responds by mentally commanding William, Bert and Tom to help Landro move the stone block. "With pleasure." He whispers.

Re: Return [To Madness]: Act 1, Scene 2
At Ke'Sha's command to assist, the undead trolls lumber towards Landro and the massive block. Four paira of powerful hands grip the handholds and begin to drag the obstacle out od the passage. Even with such prodigious forces combined, the takes still takes several minutes to move the monolithic obstacle. The Firbolg guides the group, pushing it into the nearby corner and fully out of the way.
As soon as the passage begins to open, Allikhain's eyes flash violet as she keeps watch to the South. Once the block is completely out of the way she peers into the small connecting room and lastly the chamber with th Green crystal statue. All seems as it was, and I see no evidence of invisible hazards lurking within. Without further preamble she strides inside and touches the third sigil on the West wall, gainig the mark upon her arm.
